Honestly, even if there were ads, it's not like any of us would ever been clicking on the shit, so they would be the most unprofitable ads in the history of cyberspace.
I would click the shit out of them.
Hmm. Maybe there's something to that.
Perhaps Zak could hire us to take an hour out of our day to just click ads on the site and then at the end of the month we all split the profits.
That would be my plan. But i think the reality is that if the click rate doesn't match up with reality, they will say you violated the terms of the agreement and they won't pay you. When you sign up, they specifically tell you that you cannot tell your readers to click the ads.
Damn you and your crushing of dreams!
Hey MMAscientist how do companies get away with using words like Unlimited and ANY in their ads when neither are true .
Examples Pizza hut any pizza any toppings 10 bucks. I ordered 2 large pizzas with like 4 topping each ,went to get them and it was 26 dollars . They said it was only up to 3 topping and didnt include stuffed crust pizza. How the heck is that any and any? Needless to say I told them to shove the pizzas up their ass and we went to mexican
Another example unlimited data plans on your phone . In the fine print is says cap of 5GB a month. How is 5gb unlimited?
I'm just wondering how its legal to advertise like this
I ran into the data plan thing when I wanted to tether my phone.
Then I read the contract and it says "unlimited data does not mean unreasonable use." It's all bullshit.
I can tether mine unlimited, but they don't know I'm doing it.
Jailbroken iPhone. Mywi app.

Most of the stuff that I get offered to me, is from sportsbooks though. They want me to basically plaster the site with ads, and shove their book down your throat.
Make some of the forums, like the MMA forum, sponsored by bookmaker.com. basically shit like that.
When you sign up through clicking the ads on here, and deposit, I get a cut of all your losses. I got offered Like 25% from bookmaker a couple different times. Its called an affiliate program or some shit like that.
I actually like bookmaker, they have always been good to me the times I have used them, but they just get too pushy and I don't like anyone coming into my house and telling me what to do so to speak.
Seriously though, were they talking abouy 25% of every lost wager? So even if you come out ahead for the event or week or month, you would still get 25%? If so, you would bank a lot of money like that. And b) I guess people are losing a shitload of money gambling if the books can afford to give away 25%
we're all adults here... we all know that we are not going to win every bet. In fact, I will often take a hedge against a parlay and I hope I lose it. We all already have accounts though... so I don't know how many new accounts you would get. Probably a few a year at least though.
25% seems like a massive sum when you really think about it. I mean, that shit would add up QUICK, especially if you have a high-volume bettor.
It would be weird though to have to root for people to lose and then get pissed if they win. Seems like there's a definite conflict of interest there that could make life complicated.
