Vans NHL 10/11 Picks
NHL YTD 5-4 (+0.25 units)
Islanders -115
It is really tough to win both games on back-to-back nights. Granted both teams played last night but the Islanders didnt really have to travel
Montreal -130
There is no way that Toronto (one of if not the weakest teams in the league) can beat arguably the best team in the west AND arguably the best team in the east to start the season 2-0.
Pittsburgh -130
New Jersey is playing back-to-back nights and Pittsburgh has had almost a week of practice since their last game.
Tampa Bay -110
Its Tampas home opener so they should get extra jacked and there is no way they will allow themselves to go 0-3
LA @ San Jose OVER 5.5
San Jose should score in bunches tonight against this very young defensive group for the Kings. None of their Dmen would crack the top 3 of any other team. Jason LaBarbera is just as bad as his last name sounds. Kings have a very talented forward group which I could see score more than Anaheim did on Thursday against the Sharks
Detroit @ Ottawa OVER 5.5
I heard Martin Gerber is starting for Ottawa... ENOUGH SAID!!!... ok Ill add that Detroit has to be pissed they lost their home opener against the piss poor Leafs.

Re: Vans NHL 10/11 Picks
Great write ups Van. I was in a wedding last night so posting for me was pretty much impossible and go figure I have record/career night in hockey totals including a $100 3 team parlay. I was talking to RedHottG2 as it was all going down and I couldn't believe it. Let's hammer the man on Sunday buddy.
