7-Unit Play. Take #532 Iona -3 over Yale (Tuesday, December 12th at 7:00 PM ET)
Take Iona ATS as my 7-Unit CBB Smash for Tuesday night. This pick falls into one of my top CBB systems and I have the Gaels winning this game by 10 to 14 points at home tonight. The Gaels stats might not appear to be as good as the Bulldogs, however the Gaels have played much tougher opponents than Yale this season. Opponents have shot 48.2% against Yale on the road this season while averaging 80.2 ppg. The Gaels are one of the best free-throw shooting teams in the country knocking down 78.6% from the line this season, and that ranks 16th in the country. The Gaels do not turn the ball over often averaging 3 less turnovers per game than Yale and that is against much tougher opponents. The Gaels are 20-6 SU in their last 26 home games and the Bulldogs are just 3-17 SU in their last 20 games as an underdog. The Bulldogs are also just 6-14 ATS in their last 20 games as an underdog and they have been outscored by almost 7 ppg on the road this season. Play Iona ATS as we move to 15-7 the last 24 days in CBB.

2-Unit Play. Take #522 Cincinnati (-11.5) over Mississippi State (7 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 12)
This line seems purposefully high, as if the books are begging the public to take Mississippi State. But this is a very young Bulldogs team and they are making their first road start of the year. The Bulldogs have played a bunch of schlubs and nobodies; their best game was a three-point win over Jacksonville State. This is the first power conference team that Miss State has faced and their first time leaving their home state. Cincinnati, on the other hand, is coming off back-to-back losses to Xavier and Florida. They have to be a bit irked by those two losses and should be very focused to take it out on the Bulldogs here.
5-Unit Play. Take #530 Texas (-5) over Michigan (9 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 12)
1-Unit Play. Take 'Over' 129.5 Michigan at Texas (9 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 12)
There is a chance that this could devolve into a typical B.S. Michigan underdog cover. They will fall behind by double-digits, then start to nail a bunch of threes and get themselves back into the game, and then they will somehow either sneak in the backdoor or win outright. That is a distinct possibility. Especially against a team like Texas that hasn't shown an ability to close. But I don't think that will be the case here. This Texas team should've taken out both Duke and Florida, two Top 10 teams. And their four-point win over VCU is misleading because that game was a blowout for the overwhelming majority. Now Texas finally gets one of these marquee nonconference games at home and that should amp them up a bit. Texas has one of the best freshmen in the country in Mohamed Bamba, and Michigan will have absolutely no answer for him. The Longhorns have also been solid defensively, and if they continue to attack the Wolverines on the perimeter then this game is going to be a blowout. Texas has revenge for a close loss in Ann Arbor last season and they should settle their score here.
1-Unit Play. Take #536 Princeton (-2.5) over Monmouth (7 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 12)
I know that Princeton is just 2-6 in their eight games to start the season. But they've played a brutally difficult schedule. One of the favorites to win the Ivy League this year, Princeton is back at home and they should be focused on getting this win. Princeton lost at Monmouth last year, 96-90, and they will want to turn that around. Monmouth is not even close to the same team that they were last year and they've been struggling, going just 1-4 ATS in their last five games. I like the revenge-minded home team.
2-Unit Play. Take #537 Murray State (-2) over St. Louis (8 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 12)
St. Louis is kind of a mess. Three of their better players are suspended for off-court issues and the remaining players are all over the place. The Bills are shooting just 38.6 percent as a team and 26.0 percent from three-point range. They are also shooting below 70 percent from the FT line. None of those numbers are really better at home and I just don't really see these guys beating many competent teams. Murray State has won five straight and covered three straight. They are shooting the ball well and have the two best players on the floor with Terrell Miller and Jonathan Stark. Stark, in particular, is a stud and I don't see STL being able to slow him down.
3-Unit Play. Take #540 South Dakota State (-11) over North Dakota (8 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 12)
North Dakota maxed out in its game against rival North Dakota State on Saturday - and they still lost by 10. The Fighting Hawks were one of the biggest surprises in mid-major college hoops last year. But now they are down four starters and they just aren't even close to the team that they were last season when they won 23 games. Two of their four wins this year have come against D-II schools and these guys have gotten floored on the road. SDSU has the two best players on the floor in Mike Daum and Reed Tellinghuisen. And this team already had wins over Iowa, Buffalo and Mississippi. They normally shoot very well at home and they should bury this overmatched opponent.
3-Unit Play. Take #542 Wyoming (-10.5) over Eastern Washington (9 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 12)
Eastern Washington played over its head on Sunday in its loss at South Dakota, and I think that they might have maxed out there. Now they have to travel to play their fifth straight road game, wrapping up a stretch of four road games in nine days, by flying over to Wyoming and trying to play at altitude. This Wyoming team might lack the high-end punch of recent Cowboys teams. But they are extremely experienced and they have been very good at home. I think that they can take advantage of EWU's flagging commitment to defense and this one should be around a 17-point blowout.
