5 Unit Play. Take #256 Atlanta -12 over Miami (1:00p.m., Thursday October 15)
I know the Miami Dolphins are .500 team but their offense is horrendous and their two road games they have only scored 6 points. The Atlanta Flacons are coming off an embarrassing loss at home two weeks losing to Buffalo 23-17 and the Falcons had to stew over that loss during their bye week. Sunday afternoon I see the Atlanta Falcons playing football like they did against Green Bay at home and I see the Falcons throwing up big numbers on offense. I know this number is high (-12) but lets face it this matchup is between Falcons QB Matt Ryan against Dolphins QB Jay Cutler and again with this game being played at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta I see Ryan picking apart the Dolphins defense. Miami is 3-8 ATS against a team with a winning record and the Falcons are 4-1 ATS following a bye week.

The Saints are coming off back-to-back road victories beating the Dolphins in England 20-0 and the Panthers in Carolina 34-13. The Detroit Lions come to the Crescent City losers of 2 out 3 games and those two losses were both from the NFC South and Sunday I see another NFC South loss to the Lions. The Saints should be fresh for this game as they are coming off their bye week and I see Drew Brees having a big game through the air. The Lions are 3-7 ATS against NFC teams and the Saints are 8-1 ATS following a bye week.

Jacksonville is coming off one of their biggest wins in the past couple of years beating the Pittsburgh Steelers 30-9 in Pittsburgh. The Jaguars are getting outstanding team defense and the running game of Leonard Fournette looks to be getting better week after week. The Rams lost last week to the Seahawks 16-10 and if the Jags defense can take notes on how the Seahawks played last week I see the Jags winning back-to-back games. Jacksonville has beaten to good teams in the past 3 weeks (Baltimore Week #3) and if the Jags can play like they did in Week #3 at home against the Ravens I see them winning another big NFL game. The Rams are 3-13-1 ATS in their last 17 games and the Jags are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games.
