Yeah, me and buddy of mine found out our regular place was going to be showing the PPV so we went and checked it out. Then we got drunk and went all Fight Club on each other in a bank parking lot.Quote:

The biggest upset at “WEC 48: Aldo vs. Faber” went down when 5-to-1 underdog Manny Gamburyan shook up the featherweight rankings with his shocking TKO victory over former champion Mike Brown.
UFC president Dana White claimed his newest buddy – Strikeforce middleweight champ and impending free agent Jake Shields – told him that he had a feeling Brown was going to come up short against the former “The Ultimate Fighter” finalist.
According to White, Brown had been dealing with personal issues during his training camp and it caused the one-time 145-pound champ to lose focus.
“I was worried that this would come up,” White said after WEC 48. “Before the fight started – and I don’t want to take anything away from Manny Gamburyan and his win – before the fight started, Jake Shields said to me, ‘[Mike Brown's] going to lose tonight.’
“I said, ‘Why do you think that?’” White questioned. “[Shields] goes, ‘He had a horrible camp. His girlfriend broke up with him. He skipped camp for 14 days and all kinds of crazy [expletive].’ Jake Shields said that to me before the fight, and so did (trainer) Mark DellaGrotte.”
MMAJunkie recalls a conversation they had with Brown during a pre-WEC 48 promotional event where Brown had briefly discussed his breakup, but nothing was ever made of it.
Even though Brown has lost 2 of his last 3 fights, including a crushing title defeat to reigning champ Jose Aldo, White is confident the American Top Team trained fighter will return stronger than ever.
“He’ll be back. I think he’ll be back, and he’ll still be a force,” White confidently said. “He just has to get his head together and get his personal life together.”

Holy shit man, that is the worst bruising I have ever seen. Dude looks like he got hit by a fuckin car.
That shit makes me never want to be a fighter.
He needs to learn how to check a kick from James Toney.
