The house always wins.

Former NBA player Antoine Walker was arrested at the Harrah's Casino in South Lake Tahoe, Nevada Wednesday night, according to NBC Sports.

Walker, who averaged 17.5 points in 893 NBA career games, had a warrant out for his arrest due to charges that he owed an excessive debt to Las Vegas Casinos. He was reportedly led out of the building in handcuffs and has had his bail set at $87,000.

According to reports, Walker owes $822,500 in gambling debts and faces three felony counts of writing bad checks to Caesars Palace, Planet Hollywood and the Red Rock Resort. He took out gambling markers at all three establishments over the past year and has only paid back $178,000 of his $1 million debt. Walker also owes $82,550 in fees to the district attorney's office.

Walker was in Lake Tahoe for the American Century Classic celebrity golf tournament.

Walker has played for five different franchises during his 12-year career, most notably with the Boston Celtics, who drafted the forward sixth overall out of the University of Kentucky in 1996. Walker is a three-time All-Star and is currently a free agent.
