As for this fight I think Im going to be on Abraham .Dirrell will be a good fighter someday but is a little raw right now. He has the speed to win but gets pushed around by power guys. He looked bad at times against Froch and if he cant beat Froch I dont give him much of a chance of beating Abraham.

I think both this line and the Mosley lines should be closer to -400 than the -200 they are

He looked bad against Vargas in their first fight and looked bad against Mayorga two fights ago.I think he over looked both fights. In the Vargas rematch he destroyed him. The fight after the Mayorga fight he destroyed Margirito .
So imo he is prepared for big fights but tends to overlook not so big fights. The good thing is even in both fights he looked bad he did enough to win both fights.
Now you have to ask yourself is the Berto fight a big one to him? I'd say probably not but it would lead to a big fight so he has to win it.
If he comes prepared he'll destroy Berto if he comes less than fully prepared he should still win but you'll probably sweat it a little more

My unit is 100 dollars. I always bet to win 100 if I'm betting a unit on a favorite

So for the Mosley fight if the line is -200 and I say I'll have two units on it I'll have 400 to win 200 on Mosley.

Now if I take a dog(let say +200) and I say I'm putting one unit on it that means I'm betting 100 to win 200

He and I had to go through this when I first started posting here.

If it's a favorite, he bets to win $100. So if the line is -150, then he bets $150 to win $100. If he bets "2 units" then he's betting to win $200, so for -150 he'd be betting $300.

If it's a dog, then he bets $100 to win whatever the line promises. So for +150 he bets $100 to win $150.

Zak does the same thing. They don't think of units and bankroll in the same way that most of us do.

Zak and Luke, correct me if I'm wrong on something here.

I will try to keep that in mind when reading you guys of bets.

As for Mosley, one of my poker students is an ex-boxer and he said the same thing about Mosley's line should be more like -400 than -210. I thinking about making a 4.25u play to cleat 2 full units. I think that would be the most value I'd try to squeeze out of this one, my unit size is $225 on every bet. And will be until I can increase to whatever a 2% of my roll would be then. Hopefully that will be soon.
