At the WEC 46 post-fight press conference, WEC general manager Reed Harris confirmed that Faber would get the next shot at Aldo. A date has not been set.
After Faber’s victory, he stood in the center of the octagon with Aldo as the two discussed a potential match-up.
The champion said, “I respect Urijah but no one will take my belt.”
” We got a great champion right now. Jose Aldo. He’s a phenom. He’s both talented and creative. I’d love to go in there and get that belt.” Faber said
