I don't need the way they don't want you to make money. They stop your after parties or your sponsors. . . . They just sold, what, 10 percent of the company, for $100 million? . . . If I had a big company and I sold (10 percent) I would give some (to) the fighters . . . I would hook them up. I would hook them up big time . . . The UFC ain't did it with just their name. Like I said before: You put two UFC symbols in the cage, see how many pay-per-views they get. Let the two UFC symbols fight each other. It's not all about your name, the UFC. It's about the characters that's in it. It's about the people that's inside the Octagon. There's a whole package deal; they don't realize. They can keep making new fighters and stuff like that, but some people can't be emulated."

Video evidence (actually pretty good interview)

I did... just to avoid any confusion that I was watching Dirty Dancing. I'm more of a Point Break / Road House kind of Swayze.

Is southbaysurf the first ban? that seems a little extreme to me.

Here is where he won't tell us the secret casino, and then gets outed on the next page, but won't even confirm it:

    http://investwithsports.com/phpBB2/v...7503&start=150

I think the big deal is that it is small, can't handle a lot of action, without getting the lines blown up, and usually carries the undercard too.[/quote:1n9j3fqn]

If you go through his posts (all 28 of them) over half he's being a smartass in them .Plus add in he bring nothing to the forum, posts shit he cant prove and has a rep at another forum for being an ass. I hadnt even really noticed him until he called me a liar about the whole strikeforce thing last week. Then we looked at his posts and realized his brought nothing to this place and this place wasnt for him .

As for the sportsbook at the Palazzo I think your right. Its small and if everyone is running in there to bet the undercard lines they have that no one else does might go through the roof but that doesnt happen because no one jumps on a plane to bet 500 on a fight
Its good to bet at if you think the lines are off and live around there but thats it. I dont care who finds out about it because I go out there once a year so its no secret anymore

Lagasse had Duffee at -240 for his fight . When online books opened the line they opened it at -550 had you bet Duffee at the Lagasse you could have bet the other way once the online books opened for a good arb

There is no big deal about it .I call it the super secret sportbook as a joke. No one that lives within driving distance want people to post it on forums because they open lines up on fights that are really good lines.

Think about bookmaker . They may open BJ Penn at -180 and in 10 minutes its upto -450.At the Lasgasse sportsbook they open it at -180 two weeks before bookmaker and it stays there because there arent thousands of people hammering it in he first 10 minutes. So the people that know about it want to keep it for themselves so they can bascically get opening lines on all fights. The more people that find out about it they think the less chance they have of getting the good line because of the money moving the line.Like I said I dont think its anything special and call it the secret book just to make fun of the people that wont talk about it.
Its nice to know lines a week or two before they come out but thats it

Agreed, I would probably take him up to my cap of -400 though.

I break it all the time. But now i have a special parlay project for super favorites that simply will not lose.

I am saving this for fights that are over -400 but still have value, because unless they have an aneurysm on the way to the ring, they are going to win.

Bet 1 was Cullem last week. I was going to have Din Thomas as Bet 2....

I am siving this for fights like Overeem/Fujita or Mousasi/Goodridge. Fights where the opponent just has no way to win at all. I like Nog to win, but he is fighting a real opponent, so no bet for me.

Well I was planning on doing the samething (parlaying high odds fights) in boxing but no one seemed interested so I gave up on the idea

that's probably where I got the idea. I am interested. I will parlay my MMA fights with your boxing fights. I already started the project with a total of 5u. I dropped 5u on Cullem @ -800-something. My project bankrolll is now 5.58 ready to lay on another absolute lock. The parlay will last until I feel like taking it down and starting over, probably about a year.

But MMA locks do not occur that often... so yeah, I would love some boxing locks.

Start a "Iron Clad Locks Project" thread, and we will keep it alive. On my blog, I had the Alcatraz Iron Shackle Locks, but it was still under -400. This is the new improved "stone cold lead pipe" locks.

My limit on Nog is also -400. Brilz only path to victory that I see is Takedowns and top control to a decision, which I doubt he could pull off without getting swept or subbed.

    Stun gun vs amir sodollah.

What are everyones thoughts on this fight? Stun gun is an underdog in it. He's undefeated and has 4 wins in the ufc.. Solid judo and 6 wins via knockout. Amir's record seems less impressive. I put a couple U on him, anyone else have money on him?

I put 1U on kim. The only thing that scares me is him coming off of an injury and he hasnt fought since ufc 100. He is the better fighter though if it werent for that.
