that Akiyama fight was reminiscent of the Korean Zombie/Garcia at times. Akiyama fought a smart fight at times and an utterly stupid one at others. The fact that he gassed out had alot to do with him losing.

Don't sweat it, SPX. Take it from Me you can come back and make up for it. I was -17u on the year a couple months ago and now I'm in the positives. Now granted it took going on tilt to the max and tossing 9u on Franklin to get Me most of the way there. But the more you stress how much your down the more it will make you second guess your picks. Just chill on it and remember that you can make money doing this. You'll make it back, dude.

Leben's on a serious roll now and has a secure position within the UFC.

Kind of funny since he was worried about his job just a few fights ago.

    Thanks for the encouragement.

I'm up about 9 units for the year, but my goal was to make 25 units by Dec. 31. Doesn't look like that shit's happening at this rate.

Just glad I didn't move to my 20-unit bankroll for this event, like I considered doing.

Yeah like Ludo said SPX dont sweat it. I was down 5 units in the hole just a little while ago and now I'm back up almost 5 . There's ups and downs X you just got to roll with them. You got to stop letting one not so bad night get you down

    Thanks, homey.

Just not sure how I'm going to rely on this being a significant source of income at this rate.

dont worry about where you're at "right now" I wanted to make 20 units and I'm only at 4.6 and I'm not worried. Yes I want to make 20 units but I dont have to .I'd be happy with 10.

You never know when you'll hit 7 in a row and go on a 10 unit streak real fast

Can he ? Cains never went 5 rounds or faced someone as strong as Lesnar .Holding Kongo down for 3 rounds isnt the same as holding Lesnar down for 5

After rewatching the Lesnar-Carwin fight two more times Lesnar was hurt alot more from the punches on their feet then he was from the ones on the ground. When he was on his back he did a good job for the most part covering up and not taking too much damage

Harris earned the "Knockout of the Night" award, Lesnar earned the "Submission of the Night" bonus, and Bonnar, Soszynski, Leben, Akiyama all earned "Fight of the Night" honors.

    Each got 75k

    +1.06u

I am redefining my strategy. Going back to my old "no gambling" ways... only betting + fighters where I feel they will actually win, and also no bets over -250.

I feel like I have my mojo back from the extended break-even streak I have been on. I just need to be more selct about my bets.

    Cain will beat Brock.

Fedor would wreck Brock in the first 20 seconds.

I missed every fight except for Romero -Seth and Lesnar-Carwin .Were the Bonnar-Soszynski and Leben-Akiyama fights that good?

Any other fights that were really good also?

The Leben fight was good. The Bonnar fight was not my cup of tea. IMO the FOTN was Lytle/Brown.

    Re: UFC 116 discussion/matchups

My conclusions, after a 2nd viewing:

    1) Carwin with energy > Lesnar.

    2) Carwin gasses sooner, especially when he wastes more energy than he should.
