Considering we have a good local org here that goes all the way down to flyweight, I've considered trying to take some pro-fights. The biggest thing standing in my way is an existing back injury that's been hanging around since I did Judo 5 years ago and the fact I need to be presentable for work. Not sure about coming in with black eyes and cuts and shit.

Aside from that, sure, I've considered it and I may do it at some point.

We all were. When I came in, I thought I was going to beat everyone silly, because of my wrestling and the mma training I had done. I got choked totally unconscious by a blue belt. And got tapped about 10 times in five minutes by the instructor. I have never looked back.

I love when a 20 something guy comes in and gets tooled by our resident humiliator, a 57 year old, 135# brown belt. It is classic, it never gets old. I actually had a kid take a cut at me a few months ago. Just a little guy too. I guess he was claustrophobic or something. I did him a favor by not choking unconscious and raping his limp body. If he would have actually connected, I would be a sex offender.

I am patient though, because I was a spaz myself.
