Hey I'll take it. Me calling it a shitty decision ain't gonna change it. Half the time they swing the other way so I'd rather they just fucking get it right.Originally Posted by Luke

Hominick and Jabouin each cashed in as the evening's "Fight of the Night" for their all-Canadian brawl, Wineland was awarded the "Knockout of the Night" award, and Grispi earned the "Submission of the Night" bonus for his first-round chokeout of L.C. Davis.
Each bonus was worth $10,000.

Just watched this fight this morning and just want to say that Varner got totally jobbed.
He clearly won the 1st 2 rounds IMO. 10-9, 10-8...
Judges are really a problem. It is really damn bad.

WEC 49 ratings peak with 324,000 viewers but total audience lowest since 2008
With no titles on the line and most of the organization's biggest stars on the sidelines, ratings dipped for Sunday's Versus-televised WEC 49 event but peaked with 324,000 viewers for the night's Jamie Varner vs. Kamal Shalorus lightweight headliner.
MMAjunkie.com (http://www.mmajunkie.com) today obtained the ratings estimates from an industry source.
The June 20 WEC 49 event, which took place at Rexall Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, averaged approximately 244,000 viewers.
The event – which followed "Strikeforce: Los Angeles" on Wednesday, Bellator 22 on Thursday, and The Ultimate Fighter 11 Finale on Saturday – was the lowest-rated show since the WEC's record-breaking WEC 34 event (1.54 million viewers) in June 2008.

First off, not surprising. Even I wasn't particularly excited about this one. There were honestly not many fighters on this card that I really cared much about.
Second, I had no idea that ANY WEC event ever had over 1.5M viewers.
I heart cock
Yeah and it was still one of the best cards of the year.Originally Posted by SPX
