Goodbye summertime Hellllllloooooo Football !!!
North Texas +14 (-108)
New HC in North Texas, but not a new system, as the offensive coord. remains. North Texas seemed to turn a corner on offense late last year, scoring over 30 points a game in their last 5 conference games. Lotta points to lay for FIU here (their largest spread they have ever had) against a team that looks to able to rush the ball effectively this year with RB Lance Dunbar (2931 rush/yds last 2 years, 30 TD's, avg over 6ypr last 2 years), and FIU has struggled stopping the run the last few years (allowed over 5.5 yards/rush last year). FIU has not won a home game by more than a TD since 2008, and are 1-4 their last 5 as a favorite at home. N. Texas was 4-2 as a road dog last year, and 5-2 ATS as a dog of 10.5 or more.
