Margarito is a warrior, desperately needs to be licensed in Nevada, so will be looking for redemption from the commissions and the fans, and doubt he will be knocked out or be stopped on his stool.

Pacman is quicker and has some devastating power, but I think it's a close fight through 6, maybe 3 rounds apiece. Pacquaio will punish Margarito late, but I still say he doesn't KO him. Final will be something like 116-112, 8 rounds to 4. The astounding thing about Pacman is he looks just as quick, if not quicker, in the final minute of the 12th round as he does in the first minute of the first round.

Margarito will be rehydrated up to 168-172 lbs. from his 150 weigh inIMO, which will slow him down late. I still think he looked gaunt yesterday, and he looked like a potato chip up there.

    Hoping for a good fight!
I dont like the 8oz gloves either but oh well

I'm hoping Manny gets a huge lead on the cards anf then stays away the last few rounds knowing Marg. needs a KO. Of course with Margarito making fun of Freddie Roach he may go for the kill but at +300 I think its a great bet.
IMO the KO and decision props should be a pk +100 each ,at least thats how I have the fight

^^^ Just looking at records, I see that Pac has won a lot more fights by decision than Margarito has lost fights by (T)KO.

Under the circumstances, it really does sound very odd that they're offering those odds. They're saying that Pac is going to do something that's only been done once in 44 fights.

The last guy Manny fought (Clottey) had never need KO'd before and Manny was +450 to win by decision. I was going to bet him by decision last fight but chickened out because I second guessed myself

That's a big gap b/w the 2. Every pundit I was listening to said Margarito wouldn't rehydrate a ton. 15 lbs seems like a lot to me. Good info Luke, thanks!

I may add something else just deciding

hedging a little just in case

Antonio Margarito by KO/TKO/DQ +500 .3 units to win 1.5

    So I got:

Manny wins by decision = win 1.2 units

Manny wins by KO =lose .8 units

Margarito wins by decision =not happening

Margarito win by Ko = win 1.0 units

Also, my units are $100. I know we had some debate a couple weeks back regarding unit size and bankroll % etc.

I think if it was anyone besides Antonio they would have. But he was persistent in the fact that he was fine and WANTED to continue. Most fighters would have just not communicated with the ref, or submit by body language or something.
