    Week 2 NFL

    NFL YTD

    1-1-1 ATS -0.10
    1-1 ML +.0.05

    Cleveland -2.5 (-120)

The Browns are 7-0-1 ATS their last 8 games, host KC who upset division rival SD on Monday Night to open the year. Tough to hit the road after MNF, and the Chiefs are 2-11 SU and 3-9-1 ATS on the road out of division after a SU home dog win, and 2-8 ATS following a MNF game. KC was more lucky than good to win last week, Cassel threw for just 68 yards in the win, and the offense totaled just 219 yards. Looking for Cleveland to throw the dog pound a bone for their home opener, and run, run, run against a KC team that was one of the worst run defenses a year ago.

    Carolina -3.5

Panthers have won 11 of 14 versus the Bucs, and 7-2 ATS the last 9 in Carolina. Tampa's rush defense was ranked last a year ago, and Carolina should be giving them a steady 1-2 dose of Pro Bowl RB's. Carolina was embarresed last week versus the Giants, and while Tampa got the victory last week, were outplayed by the Browns. Taking my chances with the small home favorite to roll with a superior run game and defense.

    Denver -3

Broncos have won 10 straight home openers, going 7-2-1 ATS. Mile High will not be as welcoming as the friendly home confines Seattle played in last week when they upset division rival San Fran. Denver pass defense was not impressive last week, but should return more to form to last years team that was ranked near the top, and I am not sold on the quality of Seattle, especially on offense with a weak offensive line and unproven recievers. Seattle is 8-19-1 as a road dog iver the last 6 years, and just 4-20-2 ATS following a SU win of more than 14 points. Rolling the Dice and laying the token homefield points against The Hawks and Coach Pete.
