I am very disapointed in myself. I knew better than to bet Dunham, and showed no discipline by betting Brown, as I had my line @ -250. -5.5u
One of my rules for myself is to stay away from betting sprawl-and-brawl favorites. I broke it on Brown and paid for it.
Well, I ate shit last night. I actually fell asleep and had to watch the fights today. Really suprised by Dunham, I thought that would be an easy win for him. I thought he might have a little trouble with some takedowns for a few minutes, but I didn't expect him to eat basically every punch Melvin threw. Good for Melvin, too bad because I really like Dunham. At least we will get a good line on Melvin's next fight, I assume he is going to have to fight Miller or Sherk.
I can't pick a bet for shit lately. I hedged out my bet on Wiman and he dominated. I was really close to pulling the trigger on Yves and didn't. Guymon got dominated and Brown is Joe Stevenson II.
Luckily I had a nice haul on SF a couple weeks ago, so I am still in the black- at least until next weekend when I will be supporting bjj with my monetary votes.
Unless some crazy lines come out, my only play for next week is Diaz.
Well it turns out we weren't all dumb for betting Brown.
