    Online funding for sportsbooks

    Hey guys,
Ive been following this forum and reading the different threads for the past couple of months. I was wondering how each of you add money to your online accounts. I used to use either visa gift cards and occassionally my own credit card however neither of these work anymore. Anyways any info would be greatly appreciated.

You could western union that money to them. I'm suprised the Visa thing doesnt work. I work with a guy that does it all the time at sportsbook.com

credit cards never have worked directly for me. I use western union. Hassle free and also actually free. It is usually in my account in 30 minutes.

    I use 5dimes and Bookmaker.

5dimes takes Western Union or book to book tranfers . If you send over 300 through western union they cover your fees

Last time I deposited into matchbook I used my visa check card but that was over a year ago so I'm not sure if it still works.

I've heard from many people they bought a reloadable netspend card at a gas station and it works at many books .

What book are you looking to deposit into ?

My MC and Visa are accepted @ sports.com. They charge me 1% for international fees, and they're not the best book for MMA/Boxing, I'll be the first to admit that.

    Re: Online funding for sportsbooks

I've used bodog, betus, and 5dimes before and have tried depositing money (with the gift cards) at other books as well. I've never used western union before and am unaware how reliable/trustworthy it is or even how to go about using it. I've thought about trying the reloadable netspend card but for some reason I chose not to purchase one. Probably because of the uncertainty regarding if it would work and I think there was a waiting period on the activation.

    Edit:
And I reside in the united states if that makes a difference, but I figured most on this board do as well.

The netspend isnt risky at all. If you end u not being able to deposit with it just use the money you put on it on anything else(gas, food etc)

To use western union call the sportsbook you want to deposit with and tell them you need a western union reciever name and location. Then go to a gas station,CVS ,rite aid or walmart and ask them for a western union form. Fill it out pay them and then call the sportsbook back with the tracking number . Its thats easy and is safe

My credit card works fine at Bodog, Bookmaker, and Sportsbook.

I had it working at 5dimes but some retarded security shit fucked that up for me.

I used to pick the sportsbook by whichever accepted the deposit method I had available to me. I like the books that have mma prop bets such as win by decision, ko, etc. 5dimes does this and im not sure which others do, but i dont know if 5dimes accepts western union.

So would western union fall under person to person transaction or person to company?

    Re: Online funding for sportsbooks

It is person to person. Just use the chat help or call them and they will give you a name and city... like "Jon Doe - Manila Phillipines." Then you go to Wal mart/bank/CVS/gas station and just put that person's name as the receiver, you as the sender and hand the money to the cashier, make sure it is in US dollars. It is the brown and yellow icon on the site.

    It is reliable and easy.

I just use a pre paid visa card from Walmart, I've used western union once but it was a pain in the ass. I don't have a credit card or a debit card because I am lazy so I just stick to those reloadable cards.
