I figure coker would have worked shit like that out before starting a grand prix. Unless he is completely desperate.

    This is for you, Luke:

Just did some research on Sergei.

    I watched Sergei vs:

    Overeem (both fights)
    Mizuno
    Monson
    Werdum

I looked for his fight with Schilt, but couldn't find it. And I figured that fight was 7 years ago anyway so it's hard to say how relevant it even is today.

I think that if AA can keep from getting knocked out then he very possibly wins this one. Sergei does not strike me as a particularly technical fighter. He has poor head movement and footwork and appears slow to me. I could definitely see AA landing more shots and winning a decision. Apparently Sergei can hit pretty hard though, and AA's chin has been questionable, so this is a hard one to call.

On the ground, Sergei appears to suck hard. He just held on for dear life in the first Overeem fight while his head got kneed into oblivion and Monson got him down easily and quickly choked him out. Why is it that most guys who are trained in Sambo never seem to have very good actual grappling skils? I've seen this time and time again. He did show a good sprawl against Werdum, though.

At the current odds, I might actually drop something like half a unit on AA. I would not bet Sergei at his current line, as a favorite. But really, I think either guy could take this one so the line's probably pretty well set.
    I heart cock

The effects of steroids are effects that are desirable for athletics. Although I don't give a shit who's doing meth or heroin either.

I wonder how badass Fedor would be if he got in shape and dropped to 205

I don't think he'd fare as well as many might think. At HW he has enormous physical advantages which he simply wouldn't have at LHW. 205 pound fighters are far more skilled too. Still, who wouldn't want to see Rampage vs Fedor, Shogun vs Fedor, Machida vs Fedor. Those are dream fights.

I think Fedor would flat-out murder Rampage, but Machida's style could make for an interesting fight. I agree though, Fedor has the speed and cardio advantage over almost everyone he fights and he makes his smaller size work for him.
