Some kid tries to show up Wanderlei at a seminar...

"This seminar was at Butch Hiles' gym in Charleston, West Virginia. Hiles is a black belt under Marcello C. Monteiro. Wanderlei was in town for the seminar but also to help bring awareness to the issue that West Virginia is one of the two holdout states that has not legalized MMA.
Wandy talked to Hiles later that night. Wandy even watched the video.... What made it worse was every match before that was like 10%; Wandy honestly was going to try and spar with everyone, but after that he quit. There were 200 people at the seminar from all over WV, OH, VA, PA, MD, KY, etc. This kid was not from the Hiles gym. He was a visitor.
Wandy said the incident really pissed him off (that someone would suddenly go full speed when it was clear everyone else was going 10%), and he wanted to kill the kid, but obviously, he couldn't do that, plus it was a kid. He did say he respected his balls or lack of sense, though. All in all it was a fun seminar, despite the one douchebag kid and his idiot dad. I understand the family eventually sent Hiles an apology letter.
That kid's face was all messed up, and he had a huge gash in his cheek, but he wore it with pride and even went and got an autograph and picture with Wandy after the seminar."

Wandy was obviously not trying to hurt him, he gave him the open hand smack instead of just knocking him dead. But yeah, most kids would have tapped. Seeing dumbass kids try to prove themselves is probably my favorite part of training. I get a kick out of it every time... some guys are cooler about it that others. I myself, am a dick about it. But then it is equally hilarious hearing the kid's perception of what happened.
This kid's version of events is probably that he had Wandy rocked and survived on the ground with him. That is the way it always goes...

Nope I live in Ohio, we get snow every year . We only got around 3-5 inches of snow but we also got about 3-5 inches of ice so all the roads are pure ice
