New Year's Resolutions/Goals for 2012:

1. Get down to 170# (just 45 pounds)
2. Compete 10 times, do ADCC trials
3. Save 20% of my income
4. Bet with more precision, only bet fights I feel strongly about, don't get lazy and/or impatient.
5. Complete 1/2 triathlon (no way I can do a full one, maybe in 2013).
6. Play with kids more.
7. Go on at least 4 vacations.

I become a better man in 2012.

In other news, this is my last month as a TV owner. I never watch it at all since I picked up a tablet (Nook Tablet is what I ultimately decided was best for me). I love it.

What does a tablet have to do with watching TV?

Also, isn't the Nook like $200? I thought you wanted to go cheap. . .

It was $250. I tried out a cheapo tablet and decided it was not worth the money, mainly because of the responsiveness of the touchscreen.

I watch shit on the tablet for free and I read instead- thus no use for TV.

Why did you decide against the HP pad?

Nothing in particular, I just liked the look and feel and interface of the nook. Plus it comes with like 1000 free magazines and books, which has been nice. Mainly I wanted a tablet that was fast, had an SD card for expansion and photos, and had a responisve touchscreen. The Nook was the only one that had all 3 in my price range.

I really like it, and I am pretty happy about the decision.

In any case, this one definitely looks better than the first. But more ninjas usually = better movie. There's a direct ninja-to-awesomeness correlation.

Ninja threat level is always inversely related to the number of ninjas though. If you're fighting 100 ninjas, you can kick all their asses one at a time, but if you're up against just one ninja, you know he's a total badass and you're fucked.
