Stuve aint bad. He is still young also. He has stated that he wants to bulk over then ext couple of years so I would expect him to be a little bigger than his last fight. He is 6'11'' as it is.

I don't know anything about Brownes BJJ/wrestling. Do you know anything?

He is big so I assume he won't be easy for Struve to take down if he wants to go that route. Struve is pretty good off his back though, if browne takes him down. I could see Browne outstriking him or muscling him against the cage. I think the latter would be effective. He did well against Kongo but he was just kinda winging crazy punches. That is sort of dangerous IMO. Struve has ko power.

Rampage isn't working with Mike Dolce. I am watching the MMA hour and Helwani said Rampage started this camp at around 255 lbs and Dolce said he is working with Alves and not Rampage for this fight because Alves had a contract with Dolce and before the contract was signed Rampage told him he was waiting until after Rashad/Shogun fought to fight. It obviously didn't work out that way. When Helwani asked Dolce about how Rampage was gonna make the weight, Dolce kind of made a "lol" face and beat around the bush.

At least judging by the Kongo fight, Browne's wrestling seems to have improved. He looked like shit against Mychal Clark in Bellator, but it looks like he's scaled up his abilities to the UFC once he joined the organization. He took Kongo down twice, though it was late in the round both times and he didn't do much with it.

What's the deal with Mike Dolce? Wasn't he the dude on TUF a few seasons ago who wasn't all that great?

Is he now some super-trainer to the stars or something? I've heard his name so much lately.

He works with the fighters with their nutrition throughout the camp/the weight cut/the rehydration.

But why? Why him? I keep hearing about "the Dolce diet." What the fuck is that? How is it so revolutionary? And what are his credentials when it comes to nutrition?

Dolce has apparently figured out a way to cut huge amounts of weight without feeling like forty pounds of shit in a ten pound hat the day of the fight.

Pretty sure he is a S&C coach too but I may be wrong. It's not all about the weight cutting either, he works with the fighters nutritional wise throughout the camp, then (I am guessing) modifies things leading up to the weight cut time along with a personalized protocol on getting back to their target weight quickly.

    Just rewatched Hamill/Ortiz.

It was closer than I remembered it. Ortiz took round one and if Hamill hadn't gotten the takedown near the end of round 3 he may have been on his way to taking that round as well.

Bottom line is this: If Rampage/Hamill is a boxing match, Rampage should win. If Hamill is smart and goes for takedowns and tries to GnP then I actually think he could take it. Can Rampage stuff Hamill? That's the question. All my Bookmaker money is tied up right now, but if I can get Hamill at +225 or better when Bodog or Sportsbook open the line, I'll probably put enough on him to win a unit.

Do you guys think Nelson will try to keep it standing against Mir? Or go for that clinch takedown he goes for in basically every fight? This fight is a hard one...I think Mir might technically be the better striker, but I am not sure how this fight will go if Nelson is able to drag Mir down to the ground. We haven't seen anybody actually try to take Mir down except Brock.

I don't think it's anything special. Honestly, these fighters know how to lose weight and get in shape. From what I understand, he moves in with guys, cooks all their meals, and is great at motivating them.
