    Next IWS Contest

    Luke's gonna set it up.

    So he needs to know:

    Who's in, who's out?

And if you have some kind of suggestions as far as the rules and regulations go, now is the time to speak.

I am in as well. If that was not obvious.

My only rule concern is when betting is cut off. I say as soon as the first fighter is coming out to the cage, no more betting.

Isn't that how we ended up doing it last time after there was some confusion?

I think we decided that no more betting after the first fighter enters the cage. But I actually think that's probably too late.

I think that basically once the walk-outs begin, it's over. Stand by your bet (or lack thereof).

I can roll with that. Are we going to do it like last time with no more than 20% of your roll or a preset amount if under the starting size?

There definitely need to be limits. I'm cool with 20% or even less. I think it's better as a capping contest, than a luck contest. The bigger the %, the more luck plays into it.

    I'm in .

I'd like to drop the max bet down to 10 or 15% of your roll to make the contest a little less luck but if everyone wants to keep it at 20% I'm ok with that too

I originally thought $20 would be too much for a buy-in . . . but I also originally thought we'd just keep doing these over and over perpetually without like a million years in between.

I'll do $10 or $20. I don't really care. Or we can split the difference at $15.

As for the percentage, I'd say 10%.

$20 sounds good since this seems like an annual type thing.

I say 20, what about having the same max bet all the way through, regardless of your roll, say, 20% of your starting bankroll

I really want to make it a recurring thing. Maybe do 5 or 6 a year.

We also need a start event and a end event. Could we have it for all MMA events? Or just Strikeforce, Bellator, and UFC?
