    Week 9 NFL

    NFL YTD
    Reg Season 15-10-1 (+5.40)
    NFLx 8-3 (+5.04)

    Washington Redskins +4.5 (-108)

No doubt about the better team here, as San Fran has been outstanding this year going 6-1 SU and 6-0-1 ATS, and come into Washington who has lost 3 in a row and was shut out last week against Buffalo (HC Shanahans first time ever being shut out). Linesmakers giving to many points here for a public favorite traveling West to East against a desperate Redskins team with a solid defense, playing for their season. I am looking for the Washington Defense to remind us all who Alex Smith is as a QB, and the offense to make enough plays for John Beck to get his first win as a NFL starting QB.

    Indianapolis Colts +7

Atlanta comes in off their bye to play the as yet winless Colts, and despite being pounded at a more than 80% clip, line dropped from -8 to -7 (some places now at -6.5). Winless teams are 40-24-2 ATS from week 9 out, and the Colts are much more competative at home, losing by 8, 3, and 4 points. Indy should be able to score enough points to have a shot at this one, and at least keep it inside the TD. FWIW, Atlanta has big home game next week at home against the Saints to open a 3 game home stand, it would only be natural for them to spend part of their bye week preparing for a huge division game.
