I agree with Luke on researching and waiting. That seems to be the best policy but spx is also correct about vitor.

Word on the street is that Stephen Thompson vs Matt Brown has been added to this card.
I hope to get Thompson at good odds.
I heart cock
Thompson probably gets worked in that fight.

Why?
It's not like Brown is a great striker OR a great grappler.

No, but he is the classic representation of the kind of fighter who beats fighters like Stephen. Thompson as we saw is a side stance straight up TMA-er. Anyone with a decent clinch or single may very well fuck his world up. Brown is a pure grinder, he's going to make this ugly, which was something Stephen's last opponent was unable to do.

They keyword there is MAY. That's speculation. We really don't know much about Thompson's grappling. We DO know that he is a black belt in a form of jiu-jitsu that at least claims to be 50% groundwork and that his brother-in-law is Carlos Machado. Personally, I think that it will probably take a grappler other than I-get-subbed-every-time-the-fight-hits-the-ground Matt Brown to exploit whatever weakness may be there.

I'll also point out that Brown is 13-11 overall. Granted, he's fought some good comp and everyone who beat him is pretty good.
But on the flipside of that, who is his best win? John Howard, I guess. Then who? James Wilks? Matt Arroyo? Pete Sell?

thompson is really new to the game though. He only has 6 mma fights as far as I know.
The problem is that Thompson is a wildcard. We just don't know. But he's been doing well so far and most regard him as a serious prospect. I'll at least say that I have little doubt that Thompson would put Pete Sell in a bodybag. I also would favor him against Wilks, Arroyo, and maybe Howard.
And Chris Weidman only had 4 fights when he got to the UFC. John Makdessi only had 7 fights. And they both came in and beat mid-tier guys like Brown.

Matt Brown is going to go buckwild on the karate fag. He'll make it dirty and straight dig in dat ass.
Triple-six killers in this motherfucker runnin shit
My Prediction:
Thompson's footwork and movement is so good that Brown can barely even touch him. 30-27 for Thompson.
