I like how you make it clear that this is a value bet. I mean, you don't expect the motherfucker to win or anything. And you want that to be known.

I don't expect him to win, but he has a chance. I don't think he's quite as dead in the water as the line indicates, but close. Also there is the fact that many fighters don't perform quite to their talent/skill level in their UFC debut. Boetsch isn't as good a striker but he has knockout power as well, he's not as good a grappler but I don't know if taking him down is something Lombard can/wants to do consistently. Regardless, though, Boetsch will keep coming forward until he gets put down one way or another. He'll be there in Lombards face every moment of this fight until he's either knocked out, or the final bell rings. So, no, I don't expect Boetsch to win, but I won't be truly shocked if he does somehow manage to pull it off given the circumstances.

    Also no chatter, motherfucker!

I think there are more reasons than that to think that Boetsch has a chance.

Certainly this might be Lombard's coming out party. But he also hasn't really beat many top-level fighters. Who's his best win? Schlemenko? We also have seen him struggle with guys that he was expected to blow through.

I think Lombard could prove himself to be great. But he has to PROVE himself.
