He is a quick and athletic HW fighter, but I am not sold on his overall skill set yet. Would like to see Bigfoot win this and I think he shouldn't be +250 at all

i feel the same way, pp. he seems to be improving steadily since training with Jacksons and that camp is all about finding holes in the opponents. DO you guys think he can take bigfoot down ? On the feet, i think he has faster hands and footwork but his striking is still sloppy.

I don't think he will even try to take Bigfoot down, I think he will use his movement/agility to get in and out with strikes. I can see Bigfoot implementing a similar gameplan that he did against AA...smother Browne against cage and dirty box. But I do believe Browne may be able to beat Bigfoot to the punch every single time...Bigfoot is real slow.

I don't think Volkman can take him down, and I think Shane has at least the power striking edge.

I just don't think Pierce can make it as ugly as he needs to with a much bigger Simpson who's also got a good right hand.

I actually think Pierce is the better striker and the wrestling should cancel out.

I think Volkmann will be able to get Roller down....guess we just have differing opinions. I am going to actually look at this card and watch vids and stuff unlike I did for today's card.

    Without looking at this card:

I think Browne will be too athletic and too quick for Silva. However, I am not ruling Silva out at all. I actually believe I am overrating Browne right now and underrating Silva. I have to watch their fights to make a conclusion on how their styles actually match up together.

Castillo might be able to get Johnson down and win a decision..but Johnson has actually looked much improved (that makes one of the blackzilians)

Pierce/Simpson....going to be a snoozer. I give the edge to Mike Pierce.

Hallman +200 looks good to me. Dat dere wrestler value.

Justin Edwards to beat Neer at + odds...Dat dere wrestler value.

That's all. I am going to start watching film from the prelims up tomorrow

i think Jeremy Stephens will KO Yves Edwards. Edwards is a pretty good striker but his chin is pretty bad now.

I think that fight's hard to call. Stephens can KO anyone, but I don't know if he's technical enough to win a decision.

Mike pierce is pretty good, so is simpson. I would think this one is super close. That's a good point about simpson being bigger. I do wonder if he will tire faster because of that though.

It would depend on Simpson's cut to 170(which so far hasn't looked too bad). He used to be able to go 3 rounds with alot of clinching and wrestling at 185 so assuming he doesn't kill himself making 170, and it doesn't appear he does, he should have to stamina to do his thing for 3 rounds with Pierce.
