    I wanna believe!

My fear is that GSP is gonna lose to Condit and fuck it all up.

GSP is done. Condit will probably beat him, which is too bad, because I wanted to see how GSP did with the new crop of contenders, 170 is building up again with Ellenberger, Hendricks, Erick Silva, Rory MacDonald...

Also, Weidman is going to beat Anderson.

Match is never going to happen, let it go.

Ok, but I still really want to see it, and if GSP beats Condit I'm sure I will be excited for it again.

My main reason, is just the layoff/coming off the injury.

I don't think GSP will lose to Condit. That's just silly.

i want to see anderson silva vs weidman. gsp doesnt have the finishing ability to stop silva, kinda like sonnen. silva wasnt really being in danger even when he was mounted. its difference when weidman take him down (he def will if he doesnt get koed).

He probably won't but I have seen too many athletes that seems unstoppable come back as shells of their former selves after ACL repair.

I actually believe the ACL repair will have a big impact on Cruz when he comes back just because of his style of fighting.

Is that really true? I thought you can make a full recovery.

Theroetically you do, but often times, for whatever reason, the athlete just doesnt perform the same.

Not just in MMA, mostly every sport.

It wasn't just ACL repair, it was a full re-attachment I believe. Which is much more invasive surgery wise and the results are kind of like when you super glue something back together. It's never going to be quite as strong as it was before and you may not trust it to work like before either. This is both a psychological thing as well as a physical thing with athletes. When their bodies begin to break down these guys start questioning how far they can push themselves physically for fear of recurring or new/more serious injuries. I won't be betting the condit/GSP fight.
