Lombard vs Palhares is VERY interesting. You know Palhares . . . he won't follow Boetsch's gameplan. He's going to go after Lombard for better or worse.

He'll go after the takedown for better or worse. No way he tries to stand with Lombard. Dan Miller almost knocked him out when they fought. Lombard will put that window licking retard into a coma.

I'm actually surprised his line is so high after losing to Boetsch.

I think Palhares is worth a play at that line.

Perosh/Beltran should be interesting. I respect Perosh for being all old and shit but I hope he gets Mexicuted.

    I agree.

It is very interesting...can Perosh get Beltran down? If so...I like Perosh here.

I have my doubts that he can. I think Beltran has actually demonstrated some pretty decent T3D and on the feet I lean toward him simply outworking Perosh.

At an even line or perhaps as a VERY slight favorite I'd probably bet Beltran.

Palhares' striking, while varied and powerful, isn't very good overall. Hector probably blitzes him and fucks his shit up early on. Palhares' whole game gets kind of dodgy when he gets hit.

I wouldn't be shocked to see Palhares just take him down and give him the leg lock special. Sometimes people act like Fidel Castro just can't be taken down. I don't get that.

Remember they brought him back to fight James Te Huna at 205 on short notice? Beltran almost died.

No, he got cut after getting killed by Lavar Johnson. Then he went and cut to 205 on the regional circuit and got called back up

Because his judo base makes him very difficult to unbalance. Palhares' takedowns aren't really anything special either. He mostly just ties guys up and goes for the trip/throw. That shit isn't going to work with Lombard.

who's gonna win a possible 3 round striking battle? I dont know much about Lombard. he seems very explosive and has fast hands but lazy, not throwing enough strikes. He's more of a counterpuncher while Palhares is more active but doesnt have a good gas tank. at +200, i like Palhares.
