I think Pierce is going to win pretty easy. Regardless of the height advantage, you have Pierce, who fought super close fights with Koscheck and Hendricks vs. Seth F'n Baszynski. He is just a level or two above Baczynski IMO.

I think your being too judgemental against Lombard Poopoo. I think he was waiting to counter Boetsche and Boetsche didn't attack a lot. Palhares problem is going to be that he has to come forward to get those takedowns. His game is a very aggresive. Maybe he can modify it. Maybe not. It provides opportunities for Lombard to land a shot.

What do you think about Igor Versus Beltran?

Igor is better, but Beltran is Beltran. I don't bet against the Mexicutioner.

I don't see Beltran as a big finisher. Granted he will be at a lower weight class now but I still don't see him stopping Igor. I think Igor should be able to outwrestle him.

I think this is going to be a standup affair. Either Igor will win via technical skill or Beltran will win by being tough as shit and wearing him down.

You don't think Igor can take him down?

I think he'll have a hard time doing it. Others have tried to get him down and struggled to do it. I think his T3D might be just good enough to make Igor say fuck it and rely on his boxing.

Watched the fights after I got home last night.

    A few thoughts:

    1. Who the fuck is Rousimar Palyarus?

    2. Harris had nothing for Lombard. He wasn't even in the fight.

    3. There was a bunch of dudes I hadn't heard of who fought each other.

    4. Mexecutioner! I'm always glad to see him win. Igor just seemed flat in there. I did think he won the third round, though.

    5. G-Sot has a weird fucking body. I mean, just some science experiment gone wrong kind of shit.

    6. Ross Pearson looked different. The hair, obviously. But his face just looked different, too. And he looked thicker and more muscled than I've ever seen him before.

    7. Should've bet Pearson.

Yeah I put money on PEarson to win in round 4 and round 5. The odds were like 25 to 1 for round 5. He Tko'd him in round 3. I thought GSOT would last longer and start to fade since he had been out for so long.

Rousimar Palhares broke his foot in the beginning of the fight.

I read that too... I don't think it would have mattered. Palyaris has an excuse everytime. He was sick for Belcher, Marquart was greased, etc. He wasn't getting anything done there, I read he claims to have broken his foot on a leg kick, but it sounds like another excuse to me.
