    Sonnen/Jones over 1.5 rounds -135

    Nelson/Kongo over 1.5 rds -165

    Davis/Vinny over 1.5 rds -170

I think all the overs hit

Where are you getting those overs?

I could see vinny amd kongo winning.

Phil probably shouldnt take vinny down so it will probably emd up being a strikng match. Phils striking is nothing special, i dont see why he cant be outstruck here.

Kongo could conceivably win a decision here. He probably wont stop nelson. I could see nelson stopping him. I could also see kongo narrowly outstriking him for three rounds. He should have a significant reach advantage.

Kongo/Roy is going to end up being a shitty fight in the clinch imo

Maybe. Though we know Kongo can be KOd so it wouldn't surprise me too much if Roy caught him with one of those haymakers.

Anything can happen. I would think kongo might want to tey and keep this fight at range. He should be the more technical striker with the better reach. Maybe kongo by decision? That opened at plus 700.

If Kongo wins, it SHOULD be by decision. He doesn't knock a lot of guys out and Roy almost never gets knocked out. And Kongo's for damn sure not submitting him (although that would be hilarious).

If Kongo stays at range, Roy is going to blow his fucking doors off. This is absolutely going to be a clinch fight. That's how Kongo likes to fight.

I could see kongo doing well at range. Mir did well at range with roy. Werdum pretty much dismantled him standing. I dont see why kongo cant do it. He could obviously get knocked out.

Because he needs to get inside or all the way outside. Mir had the luxury of being both a better striker and as good or better on the ground than Roy. Kongo doesn't have the same luxury. He may very well be almost as good in the clinch but he's nowhere near as good on the ground and that's going to be something Roy pushes for if they clinch up.

Agreed. Everybody labels Kongo as some sort of kickboxer...that's not how he fights.

He can fight that way if he wants. I wouldn't be suprised if roy got him down and had trouble holding him down.

Did Mir do well at range with Roy? I don't remember; I only watched that fight once. I seem to remember Mir tossing him around, taking him down often, and positionally dominating him on the ground.

Every time he fights that way he either gets knocked out or almost knocked out. The dude has serious power and great technique in his counters (eg Barry, Cain fights) but he has no defense and gets cracked in the face all the time.

-10000 Roy's gut jiggles really funny when Kongo knees him in the nuts in the clinch.

This sounds fucking insane, but...Garcia has value.
