That isn't surprising considering how bad the 4th one was. I mean, I'll still watch it and probably enjoy it, but I'm sure it's bollocks.

I'm just glad they brought the R rating back. I'm sick of all these movies neutering themselves to get dat PG13 money.

A friend of mine who liked the fourth one quite a bit didn't even like this one. He said one big thing it lacked that all the other films had was a clearly defined and interesting villain.

Personally, I'm trying to figure out where John McClain went from being a regular kind of guy thrust into an extraordinary situation to being a comic book character.

Yeah I was reading about it after I posted, and apparently John McClain somewhat plays the sidekick to his son? That sounds awful. And also what you said about him becoming a superhero is one of the main reasons I hated the 4th one. The main reason being the so-unbelievable-I-can't-possibly-suspend-disbelief-no-matter-how-much-I-want-to computer nonsense.


And I feel I was betrayed by rotten tomatoes on zero dark thirty. 92%? The fuck, son? I went back and found your comment about the movie, and I agree 100%. I had to start doing something else and half-ass watching to get through the first hour and a half.
