    If you liked the way the dialogue in The Avengers was written, you'll probably like Firefly. One good thing about the series is that it got canceled before it started to suck, so it's only 14 episodes (+ movie) and even the worst of them is pretty good. Also, the movie, Serenity, basically serves as the series' final episode and conclusion so if you can avoid it, you don't really want to watch that first.

    Edit: Although I guess I need to clarify that the series' pilot is also called Serenity. So do watch that first.
