Once dismal Baylor program looks to extend unbeaten season
To say that until recently Baylor was an also-ran would be slighting the also-rans of the world.
Stewart Mandel puts it in perspective:
The Bears joined the Big 12 in 1996, and it took them nine years to record six conference victories. This year, they're 6-0 in conference play, going 5-1 ATS, and they're lighting up the scoreboard in averaging more than 61 points per game.
Baylor (9-0 SU, 8-1 ATS) is laying 10 points at Oklahoma State on Saturday night -- something that would have been unthinkable just a couple years ago.

Injury, suspensions shake up line in Sooners-Wildcats game
The news that Oklahoma will likely be without QB Blake Bell (concussion) and that running back Damien Williams and wideout LaColtan Bester were suspended Wednesday shook up the line on the Sooners' Saturday game at Kansas State.
The Wildcats opened as 3.5-point favorites but the line moved to 4.5 to 5 at most books by Wednesday evening.

Boston College comes to Maryland winning 3-straight but the Eagles struggle on the road and yes they won their last road game but that was against New Mexico St. Sorry Maryland is no New Mexico St and their last 2 conference road games they lost by double-digits. Maryland wins big here and could head to NC State needing one more win for a bowl berth. Boston College is 1-9 ATS in their last 10 road games and the Terps are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 home games.

Yes the Badgers will get their points on the road because Minnesota will have trouble stopping the run but I also see Minnesota racking up some points as well. The Badgers scored 51 points last week against Indiana and the Badgers in their 5-game winning streak they are averaging 39.4ppg. Again Minnesota will score Saturday afternoon and since they are at home I see them making this game close and both offenses will be clicking. The last 13 meetings between these two teams 12 of them went over the total.
4 Unit Play. #184 Take Oklahoma St +9 ½ over Baylor (8:00p.m., Saturday, Nov 23 ABC)
Boy I can't wait for this game! This game is going to surpass the game of Oregon vs. Stanford and we should see offenses blowing up the scoreboard. I was hoping to lay +10 at home with the Cowboys but still this game has value and I see a much closer game then the oddsmakers have it. Last year at Baylor the Cowboys lost by a touchdown so you hae the revenge factor but the Cowboys are also playing some good football and they have won 6-Straight since losing the West Virginia. The Cowboys defense has played really well also and in their last 2 games OK St 'D' has given up 19 points. Should be a great game and the Cowboys defense will bother the Bears and I see the Cowboys covering and maybe winning. The home team in this series is 9-2 ATS and Baylor is 1-6 ATS in their last 7 meetings.

It's no secret that I'm not a fan of Washington St head coach Mike Leach but and big but that Leach has this team (1) win away from bowling. If I'm in the locker room of the Cougars and you need one more 'W' to go bowling this is your game. Utah is struggling on the road and your next game is on Black Friday on the road against state rival Washington. The Utes coming to Cougar town on a 4-game losing streak and 3 of those games were on the road. The Utes will also be playing again without starting QB Travis Wilson. Backup QB Adam Schulz played just OK last week against the Ducks but the offense of Utah looked lost and Schulz threw for 30 attempts. Utah will need to rush the ball if they want to win this game but the Cougars defense will be ready at home. The Cougars offense is the reason why they win this game and the Cougars have the 7th ranked passing game in the country. As long as QB Connor Halliday doesn't throw horrible INT's I see the Cougars winning this game at home and go bowling in the postseason. Washington St is 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games and the Utah Utes are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 road games.
