Tulsa at Creighton 3:30 ET The arrow is pointing down for an 0-3 SU Tulsa team who has lost at
home to ORU, choked a road game at Missouri St. (where they led much of the contest), then
had a 2nd half meltdown at home in a 23 point loss to Wichita St. (Big Winner for us). Just the
opposite for Creighton who has home blow outs over Alcorn, UMKC, and a gutsy road win at St.
Joes last Saturday, where they showed their mettle by winning one at the wire. Four RS from a 28
win team, who lost in the NCAA 3rd round, has their sites set much higher behind POY candidate
McDermott who figures to go for 30+ this afternoon.

Fresno State at Pacific (-2) 10:30 ET Fresno State 3rd year HC Terry has developed some
notable coaching trends in his 2 years at Fresno. Already under his guidance, the Bull Dogs are
20-9 ATS in non-con play and 19-8 ATS as road dog. They stand 3-1 SU ATS out of the gate
defeating Irvine, Northridge, and Poly, all Big West teams. In their lone step up in class, they
traveled to Pit where the Panthers man-to-man defense was getting beaten off the dribble by
Fresno’s 5 guard offense. But when Pit switched to a zone, the Fresno offense clearly lacked it’s
former continuity. That fact will not be lost on clever 1st year Pacific HC Verlin who has his Tigers
off to a 3-0 SU ATS start covering by 18 points. This includes victories at Nevada and against Cal
Irvine. Look for that momentum to continue as Fresno steps up in class
(the Tigers are part of the WCC this season) and gets smacked down at the Stanos Center where the Tigers are 15-2 SU
    1+Y.

Game: Bowling Green at St. Louis (8:00 PM Eastern)
Pick: St. Louis -20 (-110) at Bookmaker

The St. Louis Billikens have gotten off to a 4-0 start, and they have been shooting the ball very well at 47.4%. There are certainly signs that will continue, as they have been great at the charity stipe as well, knocking down 78.4%. The Falcons are 1-2 and have shot the ball poorly at just over 40% through three games, and they have coughed up a lot of points at the line, where they are shooting an ugly 52.9% on the season. Bowling Green has never fared well vs. the Atlantic 10 as they are 4-11 ATS in their last 15, and overall have dropped their last five outside of the conference. St. Louis is holding serve at home where they are 9-2 ATS in their last 11. The shooting woes continue for the Falcons, so play on St. Louis.

Arizona State at UCLA: What bettors need to know

Arizona State Sun Devils at UCLA Bruins (+3, 62)

Arizona State hasn’t played in the Rose Bowl since 1996, but the No. 22 Sun Devils could go a long way in ending that drought with a road win in the venue Saturday against No. 14 UCLA. With their first win against the Bruins since 2010, the Sun Devils could guarantee themselves a spot in the Pac-12 Conference title game. Arizona State holds a one-game lead in the South Division over UCLA and USC with two games remaining, with a victory over the Trojans already in hand.

The Sun Devils are in the midst of a five-game winning streak – their longest since an eight-game run during the 2007 season – but they have had their hearts broken recently by the Bruins. UCLA has won three of the last four in this series – including the last two by a total of three points – and is looking for its first 6-0 finish at home since 2005. The Bruins enter this contest on a three-game winning streak and are 12-2 in Pasadena under coach Jim Mora.

    TV: 7 p.m. ET, Fox.

LINE: Arizona State opened -2.5. The total opened 61.5.

WEATHER: Temperatures will be in the high-50s with partly cloudy skies.

ABOUT ARIZONA STATE (8-2, 6-1 Pac-12): With two touchdowns in the win over Oregon State, Marion Grice became the 15th player in the conference since 1978 to score at least 20 touchdowns in a season and is two shy of tying the school record of 22. Robert Nelson was named Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week after collecting two of the Sun Devils’ four interceptions against the Beavers, giving him six for the season – the most by an Arizona cornerback since 1987. Arizona State has six conference victories for only the fourth time in 36 seasons.

ABOUT UCLA (8-2, 5-2): Linebacker Myles Jack remained a two-way standout in the win, following up his 120-yard debut at running back in a Nov. 9 win against Washington with four rushing touchdowns against Washington to set a Bruins freshman record. In addition to becoming the 13th UCLA player to score at least four rushing TDs in a game, Jack added five tackles against the Huskies. The victory also gave Mora his 17th win in two seasons at the school, tying him with Tommy Prothro for the most during the first two seasons as Bruins coach.

    TRENDS:

    * Sun Devils are 0-5 ATS in their last five meetings in UCLA.
    * Sun Devils are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games in November.
    * Bruins are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games overall.
    * Over is 4-1 in Bruins last five home games.

    EXTRA POINTS:

    1. Arizona State is one of only five teams in the nation to rank in the top 20 in total offense and total defense (Florida State, Wisconsin, Ohio State and Baylor).

    2. Five of the UCLA’s six touchdowns against the Huskies were scored by defensive players (DE Cassius Marsh lined up as a tight end and scored on a 2-yard pass.)

    3. The Sun Devils have forced a turnover in 24 consecutive games, the third-longest active streak among all FBS schools.

Baylor at Oklahoma State: What bettors need to know

Baylor Bears at Oklahoma State Cowboys (+9.5, 78)

Fueled by an offense that is on a historic pace, No. 4 Baylor has easily overcome every obstacle in its way en route to its best start ever. The Bears can go a long way in solidifying their first outright conference championship since 1980 on Saturday when they hit the road to meet ninth-ranked Oklahoma State. Not only has Baylor won a school-record 13 straight games, but it is also averaging 61 points and 685 yards – both of which are on pace to shatter FBS marks.

The Bears – who haven’t won in Stillwater since 1939 – moved into sole possession of first place in the Big 12 thanks to the Cowboys’ 38-13 win over Texas last weekend that ended the Longhorns’ unbeaten run in conference play. Oklahoma State has won six straight since opening league play with a surprising loss at West Virginia. The Cowboys’ defense has allowed a conference-low 14 touchdowns in seven Big 12 games and is tied with Florida State for the most interceptions (19) in FBS.

    TV: 8 p.m. ET, ABC.

LINE: Baylor opened -8.5 and is now -9.5. The total is currently 78.

WEATHER: Temperatures will be in the mid-30s.

ABOUT BAYLOR (9-0, 6-0 Big 12): Despite the absences of their top two running backs on the depth chart (Lache Seastrunk and Glasco Martin) as well as their second-leading receiver (Tevin Reese), the Bears still amassed 63 points and 675 total yards in last Saturday’s 63-34 win over Texas Tech. Baylor, which is averaging 300.3 yards rushing and 384.4 yards passing, could become the first FBS team ever to average over 300 yards in both categories. The Bears are eyeing three straight road wins in league play for the first time in school history.

ABOUT OKLAHOMA STATE (9-1, 6-1): One week after collecting the Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Week award for his 100-yard kickoff return touchdown versus Kansas, Cowboys cornerback Justin Gilbert took home the league’s defensive award after intercepting two passes and returning one for another score against Texas. Gilbert is the conference’s all-time leader in kickoff return touchdowns with six and needs one more to tie the NCAA career record. The Cowboys have scored at least 20 points in 49 straight games – the second-longest streak in Division I history.

    TRENDS:

    * Home team is 9-2 ATS in their last 11 meetings.
    * Favorite is 13-3 ATS in their last 16 meetings.
    * Under is 4-1-1 in the last six meetings.
    * Cowboys are 9-1 ATS in their last 10 home games.

    EXTRA POINTS:

    1. Oklahoma State and Baylor are two of five teams that rank in the top 15 nationally in both scoring offense and scoring defense.

    2. The Cowboys have won 10 straight home games in this series.

    3. The Bears’ 551 points through nine games are more than they scored in 66 of their last 68 full seasons.
