I have a lot of thoughts. Honestly bravo is more likely to get the sub imo. He's much heavie and he has a more sub oriented game. There are no points but royler will most likely get the better and it will be a draw. Actually the match wont happen.

Lister by leg lock has value off the top of my head. Thats his game now its all he does.

Ill look closer when i am at a computer

They way the lines are set up, it will be hard to win by picking winners, most of the matches will go to a draw. Picking the subs is probably the only way to do anything.

Royler is the rightful favorite. Honestly Royler should style all over Eddie, but he will probably be extremely cautious. Bravo by other is +1400. Eddie usually doesn't even use his rubber guard, he usually plays half guard (at least when I have seen him rolling with high level guys). He basically has the triangle/omoplata game, and the twister. He might pull out some crazy twister variation. That's probably the bet if you are going to bet that match. That said, in the vids I have seen, Eddie gasses after only a few minutes of rolling. I am sure he is going to ramp up his training, but he definitely not in as good of shape as Royler, who was fighting top 20 MMA guys just a couple years ago and is still in very good shape. Eddie might gas, he hasn't competed in 11 years in anything. But I doubt there is a sub in the match tbh.

Rafa is the rightful favorite over clark IMO. A lot of people think Rafa is the best in the world, I don't, but he is definitely several notches above Clark. The only reason this match is interesting is that Clark is several weightclasses higher (imagine a grappling match between Demetrious JOhnson and someone like Donald Cerrone). One is the best at his weight, but he might still ose to a guy that is a contender but not a great at a higher weight. Probably Rafa by choke is the bet. Clark isn't going to sub Rafa.

Keenan vs. Vinny. Vinny is the odds favorite and Vinny has won more obviously, but I think Keenan is going to beat him. Keenan has done a sub only tourney before with Lloyd Irvin's Kumite, and he has been more active and has a better team. He might even sub him. Keenan @ +200 doesn't seem that bad.

Sean Roberts vs. Zak Maxwell. Even odds. Neither of these guys is a top top level guy, but they both bring it. Roberts did the Kumite and got 2nd to Keenan I think. I wouldn't bet this one at all, anything can happen here, but if forced I would pick Roberts.

Lister/Babalu. Babalu is an underrated grappler, but this is a mismatch. Dean is probably going to heel hook him. It is the only sub prop that is - odds, and for a reason. Since getting out of MMA, Lister has become a leg lock wizard, he is the best in the world at them IMO. That said, Babalu is a tough grappler, he beat Frank Mir in a grappling match a few years back and he has a well rounded game himself. Maybe fight ends in a draw at EV is the way to go.

I enjoyed typing this to myself. It is like when Luke used to break down boxing and no one read it. Also, where are you getting these lines?

Gui/Chantra. I am pretty confident this is going to be a draw. Gui is better, probably no sub.

Just watched the video. You can tell Royler was in a lot of pain but wouldn't have tapped out even if his leg snapped in half

Eh, I don't know how close it really was. Calf slicers look like they hurt, but some guys aren't bothered by them (including me). I was more worried about the outward pressure on his knee, but I think Royler was more frustrated that he couldn't move than anything. You hardly ever see a little guy tap out to leg locks, much less a compression lock.

Eddie did get the better of him though. And Royler also acted like a douche several times, Eddie came off really well, which will only reignite his idiotic fan club. It definitely was not as one sided as people are making it out to be. Royler had several sweeps too. Eddie started to take over later in the match, which was unexpected, I thought Eddie would gas out. All in all, it was a good event, I was definitely more entertained than any UFC card in the last 2 years. Massive improvement over Metamoris 2 by having Florian/Glover doing the commentary.

The only really shitty match was the Rafa/Clark match IMO. It was everything gay about sport jj.

Also shitty was that Keenan's match fell through with Vinny, he ended up facing Kevin Casey, which Casey had no chance in (but hit a couple of really nice foot sweep takedowns).

Babalu did way better than I thought he was going to. He looked like he was completely outclasses for about 7 minutes, and then did well. Dean still got the better of him by a large margin, but I was impressed with Babalu.

Seems like the Eddie Bravo vs. Gracie family rivalry won’t end after Metamoris 3.

Eleven years after Bravo’s historical submission victory over Royler Gracie at ADCC, they fought to a draw in a 20-minute, submission-only match at Metamoris 3 in Los Angeles, Calif., but the result wasn’t enough for Royce Gracie.
According to a report on the Underground, Royce Gracie went backstage looking for Bravo after the 20-minute match, and the MMA legend confirmed the story to MMAFighting.com.

"I wanted to talk to him for years, but never had the chance to meet him," Royce Gracie told MMAFighting.com on Monday. "I met him after the fight and he was there, throwing up. Royler dominated him so much, he did so much strength, that he threw up after the fight."

Royce Gracie said he liked what Bravo said on the mat after the rematch, but wasn’t happy with the comments he made about jiu-jitsu and the Gracie family in the past.
"I told him that I liked what he said after the fight, but didn’t like the fact that he always talked trash about Royler and my family," he said. "He stood up and started yelling, so I also raised the tone of my voice and told him I didn’t like it."

"He said he always gave my family credit, but I know it’s not true," Gracie continued. "He always talks trash about my family. Enough with this s---. He said he never talked bad about my family and he always gave us credit. He kept raising the tone of his voice, and I told him to shut up, so Jean Jacques (Machado) came in, said we didn’t need this and asked (Bravo) to leave."
Royce Gracie hasn’t competed in a grappling match since a controversial loss to Hidehiko Yoshida at PRIDE in 2002, and he won’t consider competing against Eddie Bravo in a future edition of Metamoris. However, he wouldn’t rule out a MMA fight with Bravo.
"Can we slap each other? Can we beat each other?" Gracie replied a laugh when asked if he’d accept to fight Bravo at Metamoris.
"I’m a vale-tudo fighter. I’m not a fighter to score points of fight with time limit. Let’s (fight) with no time limit and with punches allowed. I’m a vale-tudo fighter, I don’t compete in (grappling) tournaments."
