    CHICAGO SPORTS CONNECTION
    ..............................................

    Sunday early evening...

    Bulls -4 @ Heat

Heat back in Miami for a sandwich home game.

Just back from a 5 game roadie...ended up in Denver and Utah Wednesday & Friday.

Home for one game...then back on the road for a Tuesday game (Atlanta ?)

Bulls are healthy right now. ...and really starting to gel.

I watched their win Friday night at home vs Portland.
...a great win that saw Derrick Rose starting to get back to his old self.
Driving to the bucket more..playing more aggressively.
The Bulls bench outscored Portlands 40-15.

This team is really playing well...and they are a very good road team.

Miami has lost 5 of their last 6 home games....all by at least 6 points... a few by double digits.

Bulls should take care of business here.
    Laying the 4 with confidence.

    STEAMROLLER GAME OF THE WEEK
New York Jets (-2-) at Tennessee Titans 4:05 ET
Every week in the NFL, I select one team which will dominate their opponent at the point of attack. We know that teams who outrush their opponent by 30+ yards are a 74% ATS winning play. As well, teams who run 30+ times in a game while their opponent does not, is an 82% point spread winner, while it is an 84% ATS proposition to play against a team who runs for 22 or fewer times in a game, if our team does not. This type of thinking has resulted in a 10-4 ATS record on NFL STEAMROLLERS this season. Two weeks ago, Houston steamrolled this very Tennessee defense in a 45-21 victory. Last week, I again used Houston to Steamroll the Jags. They obeyed with a 173-74 overland yardage edge in a 27-13 win and cover.

This week, we go back to fading that Titan’s defense, which is among the worst in the league. For the season, Tennessee allows teams to run 33 times per game, highest in the league. They are also outrushed by a margin of 142-86 per game. Compare that to the Jets’ running numbers, which finds an offense that averages 32 rushes per game, while outrushing their opponents 150/4.7 to 87/3.5. If HC Ryan has learned one thing this season, it is to keep the ball out of the hands of his Quarterbacks. Again last week, despite outrushing Minnesota 168-114, the Jets threw a pick 6 that ended the game in OT. I’m fully aware that it is not easy to back a New York team who is 0-6 SU away for the season, but the Titans are quickly becoming the worst team in the league. Dating to last year, this team is on a 3-16 ATS slide. This year, they are 2-11 SU on a 7 game losing streak. They are also just 1-5 SU ATS on their home field after absorbing a 36-7 smashing by the Giants here last week. In that game, they were outrushed by the New Yorkers 142-61 and outgained 402-207. To say that Tennessee has tossed the towel would be an understatement. They enter today at 0-3 SU ATS, being outscored 124-52 in those three games, while failing to the point spread by a combined 54 points.

In a game between 2-11 SU teams, each of whom is going nowhere, we back the dominant running game and running defense as the Jets cruise to their first road victory of the year by a surprisingly comfortable double-digit margin.

    ALLEN EASTMAN (NFL)
    8-Unit Play. Take #309 Pittsburgh (-2) over Atlanta (1 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 14)
This is my Game of the Year and this play is from my NFL 411 System. I won a 7-Unit Play with the Steelers last week when they destroyed Cincinnati. I think they will do the same thing this week. Atlanta is coming off a 43-37 loss at Green Bay on Monday. That score is misleading. It was 31-7 at halftime and Green Bay eased off the gas. The Falcons also might be without their best offensive receiver in Julio Jones. They have a weak defense and will struggle against a Steelers offense that has been great the last two months. Pittsburgh has averaged 34 points per game over their last seven games. They scored 42 points last weekend. I think they can do it again versus an Atlanta defense that is ranked No. 32 in total yards and No. 24 in scoring. This one should be all Steelers.
