The San Francisco Giants will look for a win in the NL Wildcard game and a date with the Chicago Cubs when they hit the road to take on the Mets at Citi Field in New York, NY on Wednesday night. Madison Bumgarner (15-9, 2.74 ERA, 1.02 WHIP) will get the start for the Giants and he will be opposed by Noah Syndergaard (14-9, 2.60 ERA, 1.15 WHIP), who is scheduled to get the call on the hill for the Mets. San Francisco has posted a 4-1 record in their last five games where they faced a right handed starter and they have gone an excellent 7-3 in Bumgarner's last ten starts where he faced a team from the NL East. The Mets, on the other hand, have struggled a bit in the spot they are in here tonight as they have gone just 7-17 in their last 24 games where they faced a team from the NL West Division and they have lost five of Syndergaard's last seven home starts. Throw in the fact that the Giants are a perfect 4-0 in their last four games at Citi Field when Bumgarner was on the hill and we'll take them here at the pickem or so price to get the road win in New York on Wednesday night.
