Gonzaga Bulldogs at Saint Mary’s Gaels

•Gonzaga won the first meeting 79-56 at home
    •Gonzaga is 25-0 & 13-0 vs. WCC
    •Saint Mary’s is 22-2 & 12-1 vs. WCC
•The numbers are outstanding for both teams. Gonzaga has been unstoppable this season and come into this huge matchup as one of the best statistical teams in the country as the Bulldogs rank 12th in scoring offense, 3rd in FG%, 8th in scoring defense, and 2nd in defensive FG%. Outside of their loss to Gonzaga on the road earlier this season, the Gaels have been tremendous as well this season and come into this matchup with the 2nd ranked scoring defense, 4th ranked rebound margin and 10th ranked FG%. Saint Mary’s is a talented and experienced team that plays well at home, however, Gonzaga was able to dominate the Gaels earlier this season in a 23-point victory and as there hasn’t been any signs of the Bulldogs slowing down. Gonzaga is simply defying all spread logic. Favored by 17.5 points? They win 90-60 on the road at Loyola Marymount. No conference team has come within single digits of the Zags. For the second time in less than month this Bulldogs team sends a message to the rest of the NCAA that Gonzaga is for real. These numbers don’t hurt their case in this matchup:
•Gonzaga is 10-1 ATS in their last 11 games vs. Saint Mary’s including 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games AT Saint Mary’s

Fresno State Bulldogs at Colorado State Rams

    •Colorado State is 16-9 & 8-4 vs. MWC
    •Fresno State is 14-10 & 6-6 vs. MWC
•Fresno State is 4-8 on the road
•Fresno State is 1-5 on the road vs. MWC
•Fresno State has lost 3 of their last 4 games
•Colorado State is 11-4 at home
•Colorado State is 4-2 at home vs. MWC
•Fresno State is 1-4 ATS in their last 5 road games
•Fresno State is 0-4 ATS in their last 4 vs. MWC
•Colorado State is 5-1 in their last 6 vs. MWC
•Colorado State is 7-1 in their last 8 home games vs. team with road winning percentage below .400
•While Fresno State won the first meeting in their building, they are clearly not playing at a high level, losing 3 of their last 4. Colorado State on the other hand is playing their best ball of the season winning 5 of their last 6 with their lone loss to conference co-leaders, Boise State. Home crowd and low line have me leaning to the Rams in Fort Collins.

    Colorado State Rams -3 – 6 Units

Evansville Purple Aces at Southern Illinois Salukis

•Southern Illinois won the first meeting at Evansville 73-61
    •Southern Illinois is 14-12 & 7-6 vs. MVC
    •Evansville is 12-14 & 3-10 vs. MVC
•Evansville is 1-10 on the road
•Evansville is 0-6 on the road vs. MVC
•Evansville has won just 2 of their last 11 games
•Southern Illinois is 10-4 at home
•Southern Illinois is 4-2 at home vs. MVC
•Southern Illinois is 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games as home favorite
•Evansville hasn’t shown they can win on the road, especially in the Missouri Valley Conference, where they are winless. Both teams have an anemic offense with Evansville averaging 67.5 points per game, placing them 299th in the country. Southern Illinois aren’t much better averaging 70.2, good for 254th in the country. However conference play and road/home splits tell a different story. The Purple Aces have averaged 63.7 points per game and have allowed 69.1 points per game in league play this year, while in true road games they have put up 62.5 points per game and have allowed 70.6 points per game. The Salukis have averaged 67.6 points per game and have allowed 67.9 points per game in league play, while putting up 75.5 points per game and allowing 70.5 points per game at home. With a 12-point win already under their belt against Evansville, on the road, I lean to the Salukis at home in a low-scoring affair.

    Southern Illinois Salukis -4.5 – 4 Units
