We roll with both these selections today with the first being on the side. We have already looked at the card for Saturday for the Final Four and we likely will not have anymore step-outs this college basketball season. We won our last step-out with Wyoming in a bit of a blowout and we hope for something similar today. This is a St. Peters team that is very underrated. Remember this team is a top 100 team and is coached by John Dunne. This team has won 22 games this year and only won 14, 16, 14, 9 and 5 wins. We say that to point out that this team has 3 seniors who has seen some tough times with this team. Welton, Wyche, Baker, Griffin and Patterson are all upperclassman who will like to leave as Champions if you will. This is a team that just beat a very good Furman team at home by 26 points, they beat a good Texas State team by 5 points on the road - who is ranked roughly the same as who they play today. But, note that St. Peters is a is a top 40 defensive team, they are a 80 turnover team and top 50 when it comes to 3 point shooting. They are not intimidated at the surroundings or the moment as they have faced the likes of Maryland (lost by 10 on the road respectably), lost to Notre Dame by 8 points on the road and beat Monmouth at home by 10 points. Texas A&M CC is a very good team but note they are outside the top 200 in total offense and outside the top 260 in 3 point field goals. They difference here will likely to come to possession baksetball and taking care of the ball in each possession and quality defense and for that, we like St. Peters to do well and likely get it done today. St. Peters is 13-3 ATS when facing a winning team of win% of 60% or more and the Peacocks of St .Peter are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games as a favorite.

Note, St. Peters once again is a top 40 defensive team and whenever they face teams outisde the top 150 they hold their offensive to a decent rate. For example, this team held Niagara to 53 points, or Canisius to 65 pionts, Manhattan to 50, Monmouth to 71 points in overtime on the road or Notre Dame to 63 points on the road. This is a decent defense, they take good care of the ball and with Texas A&M playing at home and with their defensive intensity strong, don't be surprised if this game likely goes under this evening.
