3 Unit Play. Take #903 Washington Nationals +110 over Philadelphia Phillies (7:05 PM, Saturday, April 8)

The Washington Nationals will look to win four of their first five games to open the 2017 season when they take on the Phillies at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, PA on Saturday night. 8-8, 5.95 ERA, 1.55 WHIP in 2016) will get the start for the Nationals and he will be opposed by Aaron Nola (6-9, 4.78 ERA, 1.31 WHIP in 2016), who is scheduled to get the call on the hill for the Phillies. Washington has posted a perfect 5-0 record in their last five Game #2's of a series and they have gone an excellent 40-16 in their last 56 games versus a NL East Division rival. The Phillies, on the other hand, have struggled a bit in the spot they are in here tonight as they have gone just 2-10 in their last twelve games when facing a team with a winning % of .600 or higher and they are an awful 1-7 in Nola's last eight starts. Throw in the fact that the Nats have gone a lights out 21-8 in the last 29 head to head meetings between the two teams and we'll take the price with them here to get the road win in Philly on Saturday night.

3 Unit Play. Take #905/906 Atlanta Braves vs. Pittsburgh Pirates Over 8 -115 (7:05 PM, Saturday, April 8)

2 Unit Play. Take #909 Chicago Cubs -1.5 -110 over Milwaukee Brewers (7:10 PM, Saturday, April 8)

The Chicago Cubs have posted a perfect 6-0 record in Hendrick's last six road starts and they have gone an excellent 23-7 in their last 30 games following a loss going back to the end of last season. The Brewers, on the other hand, have struggled a bit in the spot they are in here tonight as they have gone an awful 5-11 in their last sixteen games home games where they faced a right-handed starter and they have lost seven of their last eight Game #2's of a series. Throw in the fact that the Cubs have gone a lights out 41-19 in their last 60 road games where they faced a team with a losing record and we'll lay the 1.5 runs with them here in a game that we have them winning pretty easily in Milwaukee on Saturday night.

2 Unit Play. Take #911/912 Los Angeles Dodgers vs Colorado Rockies Over 9 (8:10 PM, Saturday, April 7)

The Rockies have posted a 7-2 record to the over in their last nine games where they faced a left-handed starter and they have gone an excellent 8-3 to the over in their last eleven games played on a Saturday for whatever reason. They have also gone up and over the number in seven of Jon Gray's last ten starts where he faced a team with a winning record and they have gone 8-3 to the over in his last eleven starts overall. The Giants have been an over team as well in the spot they are in here tonight as they have gone 11-2-1 to the over in their last fourteen games where they faced a starting pitcher with a WHIP of 1.15 or higher. Throw in the fact that these two teams have gone 6-1-1 to the over in their last eight head to head meetings when Kershaw started for the Dodgers and that's where we'll have our play as we expect both teams to put some runs on the board tonight in Colorado.

3 Unit Play. Take #913 San Francisco Giants -1.5 -130 over San Diego Padres (8:40 PM, Saturday, April 8)

The San Francisco Giants will look to break their three-game losing streak when they take on the Padres at Petco Park in San Diego, CA on Saturday night. Madison Bumgarner (0-0, 3.86 ERA, 0.86 WHIP) will get the start for the Giants and he will be opposed by Jhoulys Chacin (0-1, 24.30 ERA, 3.00 WHIP), who is scheduled to get the call on the hill for the Padres. The Giants have posted a 4-1 record in Bumgarner's last five starts where he started with five days of rest and they have gone an excellent 15-4 in his last nineteen starts following a team loss in their previous game. The Padres, on the other hand, have struggled a bit in the spot they are in here tonight as they have gone just 1-4 in their last five games when facing a left-handed starter and they are an awful 2-7 in their last nine games versus an NL West Division rival. Throw in the fact that the Giants are a lights out 20-7 in Bumgarner's last 27 road starts when he faces a team with a losing record and we'll lay the 1.5 runs with them here in a game that we have them winning pretty easily in San Diego on Saturday night.

4 Unit Play. Take #915/916 Minnesota Twins vs. Chicago White Sox Over 8.5 (2:10 PM, Saturday, April 8)

Two teams that have been trending to the over will meet when the Minnesota Twins take on the White Sox at Guaranteed Rate Field in Chicago, IL on Saturday afternoon. Adalberto Mejia will make his major-league debut for the Twins and he will be opposed by Miguel Gonzalez (5-8, 3.73 ERA, 1.24 WHIP in 2016), who is scheduled to get the call on the hill for the White Sox. The Twins have posted a 3-1-1 record to the over in their last five games where they faced a team from the AL Central Division and they have that same record to the over in their last five games overall. The White Sox have been an over team as well in the spot they are in here as they have gone 5-2 to the over in their last seven home games and they have gone up and over the number in 19 of their last 27 games when facing a division rival. Throw in the fact that these two teams have gone 4-2 to the over in their last six head to head meetings in Chicago and 8-2 to the over in their las ten overall and that's where we'll have our play as we expect both starters to struggle a bit on the South Side on Saturday afternoon.

4 Unit Play. Take #917/918 Boston Red Sox vs Detroit Tigers Over 8.5 (1:05 PM, Saturday, April 8)

Two teams that have been trending to the over will meet when the Boston Red Sox take on the Tigers at Comerica Park in Detroit, MI on Saturday afternoon. Eduardo Rodriguez (3-7, 4.71 ERA, 1.30 WHIP in 2016) will get the start for the Tigers and he will be opposed by Jordan Zimmermann (9-7, 4.87 ERA, 1.37 WHIP in 2016), who is scheduled to get the call on the hill for the Tigers. The Red Sox have posted an 8-2 record to the over in Rodriguez's last ten starts where they faced a team from the AL Central and they have gone 6-2-1 to the over in their last nine games versus the same division. The Tigers have been an over team as well in the spot they are in here today as they have gone a perfect 7-0 to the over in their last seven home games and they have gone an excellent 9-2-1 to the over in their last twelve games overall going back to the end of last season. They have also gone 4-1-1 to the over in their last six games following a win and they are a perfect 6-0-1 to the over in Zimmermann's last seven home starts. Throw in the fact that these two teams have gone 8-2-3 to the over in their last thirteen head to head meetings at Comerica Park and that's where we'll have our play as we expect both starting pitchers to struggle a bit in Detroit on Saturday afternoon.

3 Unit Play. Take #922 Baltimore Orioles -105 over New York Yankees (4:05 PM, Saturday, April 8, FS1)

The Baltimore Orioles will look for their fourth win in row to open their 2017 season when they take on the New York Yankees at Camden Yards in Baltimore, MD on Saturday afternoon. Kevin Gausman (0-0, 3.38 ERA, 1.69 WHIP) will get the start for the Orioles and he will be opposed by Masahiro Tanaka (0-1, 23.63 ERA, 3.75 WHIP), who is scheduled to get the call on the hill for the Yankees. Baltimore has posted a perfect 5-0 record in their last five home games and they have gone an excellent 8-1 in Gausman's last nine home starts. The Yankees, on the other hand, have struggled a bit in the spot they are in here today as they have gone just 1-5 in their last five games where they faced a right-handed starter and they have lost seven of their last nine road games. Throw in the fact that the Orioles have gone a lights out 20-7 in their last 27 head to head meetings with the Yankees at Camden Yards and we'll take them at the pickem or so price to get the home win on Saturday afternoon in Baltimore.

2 Unit Play. Take #923 Oakland A's +165 over Texas Rangers (8:05 PM, Saturday, April 8)

The A's have posted a 6-1 record in Kendall Graveman's last seven starts where they faced a team with a losing record and they have gone a lights out 33-16 in their last 49 road games when facing a team with a home winning % of .400 or lower. The Rangers, on the other hand, have struggled a bit in the spot they are in here tonight as they have gone just 1-6 in their last seven home games where they faced a right-handed starter and they have lost eight of their last nine games overall going back to the end of the 2016 season. Throw in the fact that the Rangers are just 1-7 in Yu Darvish's last eight home starts against the A's and just 3-10 in his last thirteen starts against them overall and we'll take the A's at the plus money price to get the road win in Texas on Saturday night.

3 Unit Play. Take #926 Tampa Bay Rays -115 over Toronto Blue Jays (6:05 PM, Saturday, April 8)

The Tampa Bay Rays will look for their third win in their last four games when they take on the Toronto Blue Jays at Tropicana Field in St Petersburg, FL on Saturday night. Chris Archer (1-0, 2.54 ERA, 1.14 WHIP) will get the start for the Rays and he will be opposed by Aaron Sanchez (15-2, 3.00 ERA, 1.17 WHIP in 2016), who is scheduled to get the call on the hill for the Blue Jays. Tampa has posted a 5-2 record in their last seven Game #3's of a series and they have gone 4-1 in Archer's last five starts when he faced a team with a losing record. The Jays, on the other hand, have struggled a bit in the spot they are in here tonight as they have gone just 1-4 in their last five road games and they are an awful 2-6 in their last eight games overall going back to the end of the 2016 season. Throw in the fact that the Jays have also lost twelve of their last fifteen games versus a starting pitcher with a WHIP of 1.15 or lower and we'll lay the small price here with the Rays to get the home win over the Jays on Saturday night.

4 Unit Play. Take #927 Seattle Mariners -115 over Los Angeles Angels (10:05 PM, Saturday, April 8)

The Seattle Mariners will look to get things back on track after losing four of their first five games when they take on the Angels at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, CA on Saturday night. Felix Hernandez (0-1, 3.60 ERA, 1.00 WHIP) will get the start for the Mariners and he will be opposed by Ricky Nolasco (0-1, 4.76 ERA, 1.59 WHIP), who is scheduled to get the call on the hill for the Angels. Seattle has posted a 10-4 record in their last fourteen games where they faced a right-handed starter and they have gone an excellent 6-2 in their last eight games when King Felix gets the start following a team loss in their last game. The Angels, on the other hand, have struggled a bit in the spot they are in here tonight as they have gone just 2-7 in their last nine games when facing a team with a winning % of .400 or lower and they have lost five of Nolasco's last seven starts when facing a team from the NL West. Throw in the fact that the Mariners have gone 9-4 in the last thirteen head to head meetings between the two teams and we'll lay the small price with them here as we believe they have a decent advantage in the starting pitching match-up and we think their lefty bats will get to Nolasco in Anaheim on Saturday night.

7 Unit Play. Take #929 Cleveland Indians -105 over Arizona Diamondbacks (8:10 PM, Saturday, April 8)

The Cleveland Indians will look to bounce back from their first loss of the season when they take on the Arizona Diamondbacks at Chase Field in Phoenix, AZ on Saturday night. Trevor Bauer (12-8, 4.26 ERA, 1.31 WHIP in 2016) will get the start for the Indians and he will be opposed by Zack Greinke (0-1, 3.60 ERA, 1.20 WHIP), who is scheduled to get the call on the hill for the Diamondbacks. Cleveland has posted a 7-1 record in their last eight interleague road games where they faced a right-handed starter and they have gone an excellent 16-6 in their last 22 games overall going back to the end of last season. They have also won seven of Bauer's last ten starts versus a team with a winning record and they have gone an impressive 16-7 in their last 23 interleague games. The Diamondbacks, on the other hand, have struggled a bit in the spot they are in here tonight as they have gone just 3-7 in their last ten games when facing a team from the AL Central and they are an awful 8-21 in their last 29 interleague games overall. They have also lost 20 of their last 27 games versus a team with a winning % of .600 or higher and they are 2-7 in their last nine interleague home games. Throw in the fact that the Indians have won seven of the last eleven head to head meetings between the two teams and we'll take them at the pickem or so price to get the road win in Phoenix on Saturday night.

These are all your MLB Plays for today. Your next MLB update will be Sunday, April 9, 2017.

    MLB BASEBALL PLAYS

5 Unit Play. Take #906 Pittsburgh -130 over Atlanta (7:05p.m., Saturday April 8)
The Pittsburgh Pirates arrived home after getting swept in Boston to win their first game at home against the Atlanta Braves last night. Pirates won 5-4 taking an early lead and holding that lead last night and tonight I see back-to-back Pirates winners. Atlanta has dropped back-to-back games and tonight the Braves are throwing out R.A. Dickey. It's seems like its been forever since Dickey was a solid pitcher, too me it seems like guys have caught up to his knuckleball and have hit him hard. Chad Kuhl gets the start for the Pirates and last year he went 5-4 with 4.20 ERA and I see him having a quality start tonight at home. Tonight I see home field holding and the Pirates bats getting to Dickey early and often. Atlanta is 1-4in their last 5 road games and the Braves are 1-4 in their last 5 games in Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh is 5-0 when Kuhl starts against a losing record team and again the Pirates win again at home.

    1-Unit Play. Take #909 Chicago Cubs (-1.5, -115) over Milwaukee (7 p.m., Saturday, April 8)

The Cubs should bounce back here today against the Brewers. They did the same thing in their series with the Cardinals; drop the first game and then come back and get the next two. Tommy Millone did not pitch well in his first appearance this year out of the bullpen and now he's getting the start. The Cubs are going with Kyle Hendricks and he's been rock solid for them. Milwaukee has actually won six of seven in this series. But the Cubs have dominated the Brewers the last three years and I expect that to continue in a big way today.

    1-Unit Play. Take #911 L.A. Dodgers (-1.5, +105) over Colorado (8 p.m., Saturday, April 8)

Clayton Kershaw is 18-5 in his career against the Rockies and is 8-3 in Coors Field. He's one of the best in baseball and something tells me that the Dodgers are going to bounce back after losing a tight one on Friday. That one was Colorado's home opener so the upset wasn't overwhelming. Jon Gray is a guy that people have high hopes for. But he has a 5.09 ERA in Coors Field and he is 2-3 with a 4.11 ERA against the Dodgers. Why yes, I will take Clayton Kershaw over that.

    4-Unit Play. Take #913 San Francisco (-1.5, -120) over San Diego (8:40 p.m., Saturday, April 8)

The Giants have now lost four of five. Their lone win was Madison Bumgarner's start. And that is because Madison Bumgarner is an animal. San Diego was able to feed off a rare sellout crowd in its home opener for a come-from-behind 7-6 win last night. That was the second game in a row that the Giants lost a lead, and the game. But regardless, this game reeks of letdown for the Padres, who suck. This is not a good team. So it is going to be pretty much an automatic fade after every game they win. How did Jhoulys Chacin do in his first start? He just gave up nine runs in three innings. Because he sucks. This is a pitching mismatch. This is an overall mismatch. We have a mismatch in terms of motivation. Yup; I'm willing to bet that the Giants come to play today and they should get this win around 7-3.

    2-Unit Play. Take #927 Seattle (-120) over L.A. Angels (10 p.m., Saturday, April 8)

King Felix ain't what he used to be. But he is better than Ricky Nolasco. Hell, you are a better starter than Ricky Nolasco. And I expect the Angels Opening Day starter (*laugh*) to get beat up again here. Look, Seattle was supposed to be a competitor in the West this season. (Although my second-highest futures play was on the Mariners 'under'.) And they are off to a 1-4 start. It is a little early for desperation to completely set in. But the fact of the matter is that having Felix on the mound, along with the 1-4 start, is going to focus this team in a way that makes these odds solid. Oh, and we're betting against Ricky Nolasco. Take the M's.

    1-Unit Play. Take #930 Arizona (-110) over Cleveland (8 p.m., Saturday, April 8)

Let's keep riding the Diamondbacks! Look - this team is undervalued. By the end of April - and then May - and maybe June - people are going to be looking back and wondering how they didn't see the Diamondbacks coming. Let's get out in front of this. They are hitting the ball and I have zero problem backing a former Cy Young pitcher, Zach Greinke, at this price. It's a bargain. And the fact is that today we are backing Zach Greinke, Clayton Kershaw, Felix Hernandez, and Madison Bumgarner. I feel pretty good that we'll get three of four here.

    Today's Totals

1-Unit Play. Take 'Over' 7.0 Toronto at Tampa Bay (6 p.m., Saturday, April 8)

1-Unit Play. Take 'Over' 7.5 Kansas City at Houston (7 p.m., Saturday, April 8)

1-Unit Play. Take 'Over' 7.5 Washington at Philadelphia (7 p.m., Saturday, April 8)

    Carpe diem. Good luck.

3-Unit Play. Take 'Under' 8.0 Seattle at Los Angeles Angels (10 p.m., Saturday, April 8)

I think that this one will be a pitcher's duel. These two teams have gone 'under' in five straight meetings. Seattle has gone 'under' in seven of its last nine games going back to last year and they are 1-4 against the total this season. Seattle's best players are off to terrible starts in the middle of the order. This team has only scored nine runs all season so far. Ricky Nolasco looked pretty good in his first start. I think that will continue. Felix Hernandez has had a lot of success against the Angels. The 'under' is 26-12 in Hernandez's last 38 starts against division opponents and the 'under' is 35-15 in the Angels' last 50 games overall. The 'under' is 10-1 in Nolasco's last 11 starts and 5-1 in his last six home starts. Play 'under'.

Expert Preview: Chase Diamond off another winning night has a great deal on this 100% guaranteed winner. Chase is a rock solid 869-712 55% 75,090 dollars on all MLB
Expert Analysis: This game features the 1-3 Yankees and the 3-0 Orioles. Tanaka got rocked first time out and I think he will pitch on a mission today. Yankees lost a tight one last night 6-5 and really need to get back on track having lost 2 straight. Yankees are a public side but I think we are getting the best pitcher at the best value thanks to his bad first start. Take the Yankees for a 8* winner.
