We roll with the Hawks to be a very good active underdog as we are aware that many of their starters will not be playing today as they will be resting. But, take a closer look at the Hawks lineup and in particular, their last game against the Hornets and you will see something - all 13 players played in their 103-76 win. This team won their last 4 straight games and that includes back to back wins over the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Hawks are one of the deepest teams in the league as evidenced by their substitues coming all the way back and beating the Cavs at home even though the Cavs had massive revenge from a home loss to the Hawks. Nearly all 13 guys played double-digit minutes and 9 players had at least 7 points and 8 players had at least 8 points. The Hawks are a very deep team and we understand that the Pacers need to win this game - or they don't go to the Playoffs. In fact, the Miami Heat are huge fans of the Hawks today as are the Chicago Bulls as these 3 teams the Bulls, Pacers and Heat fight for the final 2 spots. We like these young Hawks who don't get to play much to play very well today and push the tempo and consequently we would not be a bit surprised here if this game goes over the posted total with a very active underdog. The Over is 6-1 for the Hawks following a straight up win of 10 or more points and the Over is 5-2 for the Pacers following an ATS win as well.
