3 Unit Play. Take #952 St Louis Cardinals -130 over Pittsburgh Pirates (7:05 PM, Monday, April 17, ESPN)

The St. Louis Cardinals will look to break their small three game losing streak when they take on the Pittsburgh Pirates at Busch Stadium in St Louis, MO on Monday night. Lance Lynn (0-1, 5.23 ERA, 1.45 WHIP will get the start for the Cardinals and he will be opposed by Ivan Nova (1-1, 2.25 ERA, 1.17 WHIP), who is scheduled to get the call on the hill for the Pirates. St Louis has posted a 17-8 record in their last 25 games when facing a team that scored five runs or more in their previous contest and they have gone 6-2 in Lynn's last eight starts versus the Pirates. Pittsburgh, on the other hand, has struggled a bit in the spot they are in here tonight as they have gone just 4-9 in their last thirteen games when facing a NL Central Division rival and they have lost seven of their last ten road games. Throw in the fact that the Cards have gone a perfect 4-0 in their last four home games versus the Pirates and 7-1 in the last eight overall between the two teams and we'll lay the small price with them here to get the home win in St Louis on Monday night.

3 Unit Play. Take #955 Milwaukee Brewers +180 over Chicago Cubs (8:05 PM, Monday, April 17)

The Milwaukee Brewers will look for their sixth win in their last seven games when they take on the Cubs at Wrigley Field in Chicago, IL on Monday night. Chase Anderson (1-0, 0.69 ERA, 0.77 WHIP) will get the start for the Brewers and he will be opposed by John Lackey (1-1, 3.00 ERA, 1.25 WHIP), who is scheduled to get the call on the hill for the Cubs. The Brewers have posted a perfect 6-0 record in their last six road games where they faced a right-handed starter and they have gone an excellent 7-1 in their last eight road games overall. They have also won five of their last seven Game #1's of a series. The Cubs, on the other hand, have struggled a bit in the spot they are in here tonight as they have lost four of their last five games and come into the game tonight off a three-game sweep at the hands of the Pirates. Throw in the fact that the Brewers are 5-1 in Anderson's last six starts after they allowed two runs or less in their previous game and we'll take the Brew Crew at the underdog price to get the road win in Chicago on Monday night.

4 Unit Play. Take #958 Los Angeles Dodgers -150 over Arizona Diamondbacks (10:10 PM, Monday, April 17)

The Los Angeles Dodgers will look to take three out of four from the Arizona Diamondbacks when the two teams meet at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, CA on Monday night. Brandon McCarthy (2-0, 1.50 ERA, 1.000 WHIP) will get the start for the Dodgers and he will be opposed by Robby Ray (1-0, 2.19 ERA, 1.22 WHIP), who is scheduled to get the call on the hill for the Diamondbacks. Los Angeles has posted a 4-1 record in their last five games following a loss and they have gone an excellent 24-9 in their last 33 Game #4's of a series. They have also won seven of McCarthy's last nine starts versus a team from the NL West and they are a perfect 4-0 in his last four home starts going back to the 2016 season. The Diamondbacks, on the other hand, have struggled a bit in the spot they are in here tonight as they have gone just 2-5 in their last seven Game #4's of a series and they are an awful 3-10 when facing a team that scored two runs or less in their last game. They have also lost four of their last five games versus a team with a starting pitcher that has a WHIP less than 1.15 and they are 6-18 in Ray's last 24 road starts. Throw in the fact that the Dodgers have gone a lights out 24-6 in their last 30 home games versus Arizona and we'll lay the price with them here to get the home win in LA on Monday night.

4 Unit Play. Take #962 New York Yankees -150 over Chicago White Sox (7:05 PM, Monday, April 17)

The New York Yankees will look to extend their win streak to eight games when they take on the Chicago White Sox at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, NY on Monday night. Jordan Montgomery (0-0, 3.86 ERA, 1.50 WHIP) will get the start for the Yankees and he will be opposed by Derek Holland (1-1, 1.50 ERA, 0.83 WHIP), who is scheduled to get the call on the hill for the White Sox. The Yankees have posted a 6-2 record in their last eight games where they faced a team from the AL Central and they have gone a perfect 4-0 in their last four home games where they faced a left-handed starter. The White Sox, on the other hand, have struggled a bit in the spot they are in here tonight as they have lost five of their last seven games where they faced a starting pitcher with a WHIP of 1.30 or higher. Throw in the fact that the Yanks have gone a lights out 22-7 in their last 29 home games against the White Sox and we'll lay the price with them here to get the home win in New York on Monday night.

3 Unit Play. Take #966 Houston Astros -150 over Los Angeles Angels (8:10 PM, Monday, April 17)

The Houston Astros will look to extend their win streak to five games when they take on the Los Angeles Angels at Minute Maid Park in Houston, TX on Monday night. Charlie Morton (0-1, 4.09 ERA, 1.45 WHIP) will get the start for the Astros and he will be opposed by Jesse Chavez (1-1, 5.40 ERA, 1.20 WHIP), who is scheduled to get the start for the Angels. The Astros have posted a perfect 4-0 record in their last four games versus an AL West Division rival and they have gone an excellent 25-11 in their last 36 home games where they faced a team with a losing record. The Angels, on the other hand, have struggled a bit in the spot they are in here tonight as they have gone just 1-5 in their last six games versus a right-handed starter and they have lost their last five games overall. Throw in the fact that the Astros are 16-6 in their last 22 home games versus the Angels and we'll lay the price with them here to get the home win in Houston on Monday night.

4 Unit Play. Take #969/970 Miami Marlins vs Seattle Mariners Over 8 -120 (10:10 PM, Monday, April 17)

4 Unit Play. Take #969 Miami Marlins +130 over Seattle Mariners

Two teams that have been trending to the over will meet when the Miami Marlins hit the road to take on the Mariners at Safeco Field in Seattle, WA on Monday night. Tom Koehler (0-0, 3.27 ERA, 1.27 WHIP) will get the start for the Marlins and he will be opposed by Ariel Miranda (0-1, 5.06 ERA, 1.59 WHIP), who is scheduled to get the call on the hill for the Mariners. The Marlins have posted a perfect 4-0 record to the over in their last four interleague road games where they faced a left-handed starter and they have gone 6-1 to the over in their last seven interleague games where they faced a team with a losing record. The Mariners have been an over team as well in the spot they are in here tonight as they have gone up and over the number in their last four interleague home games and they are 6-1 to the over in their last seven interleague home games when facing a team with a winning % of .500 or higher. Throw in the fact that the Marlins are a perfect 9-0 to the over in their last nine interleague road games while the M's are 7-3-1 to the over in Miranda's last eleven starts overall and that's where we'll have our play as we expect both starters to struggle a bit in Seattle on Monday night.

As for the side, the Marlins have posted a 7-2 record in their last nine games where they faced a team with a winning % of .400 or lower and they have gone 8-2 in Koehler's last ten starts where he faced a team with a losing record. They have also won five of their last six road games versus a left-handed starter and they have gone 7-3 in their last ten games overall. The Mariners, on the other hand, have struggled a bit in the spot they are in here tonight as they have lost five of their last seven games versus a team with a winning record and they are an awful 3-8 in their last eleven games where they faced a right-handed starter. Throw in the fact that Miami has won four of the last five head to head meetings between the two teams and we'll take them at the underdog price to get the road win in Seattle on Monday night.
