Detroit comes to this weekend AL Central battle dropping back-to-back home games against Seattle and the Tigers only scored 1 run in those games. Tigers are throwing out lefty Matt Boyd tonight and Boyd is 2-0 (Tigers 3-0) in his last 3 starts and Boyd has a WHIP of 1.22 and ERA 1.65. White Sox have Mike Pelfrey on the mound tonight and since Pelfrey pitched last year for the Tigers you figure the Tigers batter will hit him hard from the start. With Boyd on the mound tonight at home and Boyd being 7-1 in his last 8 starts against a team with a winning record I see this trend cashing tonight. Pelfrey is 3-5 in his career against the Tigers with an ERA of 4.19 and tonight I see him struggling against a Tigers team that will be looking to score some early runs. The White Sox are 1-4 following a day off and the Tigers are 7-1 at home against a team with a winning record.
