Sunday card has the NBA 2nd Round 100% Game of the Year side, a 25-1 ESPN Sunday night baseball Power Angle play and a Game 6 NHL historical system. NBA Comp play below

The NBA comp play is on the Toronto Raptors plus the 7 points at 3:330 eastern. The Cavs should get the sweep here as Toronto knows they cant beat them and probably has no interest for another beat down should they return to Cleveland. However, they do owe the fans a top tier effort and to go down with a fight. This means they will keep this close and hang around for the cover. The Cavs fit a system that plays against teams off back to back wins and cover that scored more than 115 in both wins. These teams are on an 0-9 spread run. We will take the points here. Take Toronto. On Sunday another huge card headlines and the NBA 100% 2nd Round Play of the Year is up along with a 25-1 MLB ESPN Sunday night baseball play and a Game 6 NHL Historical super system. For the NBA Free pick. Take the 7 points with Toronto. GC

    3-Unit Play. Take #970 Minnesota (+1.5, -120) over Boston (2 p.m., Sunday, May 7)

I will take the Twins with the extra runs today. I think Minnesota has a good chance to get this win today. The Twins are familiar with Chris Sale from his time in Chicago with the White Sox. He is just 4-3 with a 4.44 ERA in his career at Target Field and the Twins have had some success against him. I also think Sale could be distracted about all the suspension talk surrounding him. Boston won 11-1 yesterday and embarrassed the Twins. They will want to bounce back and win this series. Ervin Santana has been even better than Sale this year, posting just a 0.71 WHIP and a 0.66 ERA. He has been one of the best pitchers in baseball and the Twins are 5-1 in his starts. I think that this game will be a pitcher's duel. But I like the Twins to win this game. Boston is just 5-12 on the road and even if they do get the win I think it will be a close and low-scoring game. Take the Twins on the run line.

    2-Unit Play. Take #963 L.A. Dodgers (-135) over San Diego (4:40 p.m., Sunday, May 7)

The Dodgers are heating up and this price is a bargain. They've won the first two games of this series by a combined score of 18-4 and have beaten the Padres four straight by a combined score of 31-7. This series is a mismatch. Brandon McCarthy has been keeping the ball down and he has won four of his five starts this year while posting just a 3.10 ERA. With a powerful lineup behind him I think McCarthy will be just good enough to get another win.

    Today's Totals

7-Unit Play. Take 'Over' 11.5 Arizona at Colorado (3 p.m., Sunday, May 7)

I think we are going to see a good ol' fashioned Rockies shootout in Coors Field today. There were nine combined runs scored on Friday and 10 yesterday. Neither game went 'over' but I think they will break out today. Both Taijuan Walker and Tyler Chatwood have been struggling this season and I don't think either is going to particularly enjoy throwing in Coors. Both pitchers are struggling and I think that both lineups are due for a breakout.

    1-Unit Play. Take 'Over' 8.5 Miami at N.Y. Mets (1 p.m., Sunday, May 7)

1-Unit Play. Take 'Under' 8.5 St. Louis at Atlanta (1:30 p.m., Sunday, May 7)

3-Unit Play. Take 'Over' 8.5 Washington at Philadelphia (2:30 p.m., Sunday, May 7)

1-Unit Play. Take 'Under' 8.5 San Francisco at Cincinnati (4 p.m., Sunday, May 7)

1-Unit Play. Take 'Over' 8.0 Toronto at Tampa Bay (1 p.m., Sunday, May 7)

1-Unit Play. Take 'Over' 8.5 Texas at Seattle (4 p.m., Sunday, May 7)

1-Unit Play. Take 'Over' 8.5 N.Y. Yankees at Chicago Cubs (8 p.m., Sunday, May 7)

    Carpe diem. Good luck.

4 Unit Play. Take #951/952 Miami Marlins vs New York Mets Over 9 -120 (1:10 PM, Sunday, May 7)

Two teams that have been trending to the over will meet when the Miami Marlins take on the New York Mets at Citi Field in New York, NY on Sunday afternoon. Jose Urena (0-0, 2.35 ERA, 1.37 WHIP) will get the start for the Marlins and he will be opposed by Adam Wilk, who will now go for the Mets after the team suspended Matt Harvey this morning. Miami has posted a perfect 5-0-1 record to the over in their last six Game #3's of a series and they have gone an excellent 7-2-1 to the over in their last ten road games. The Mets have been an over team as well in the spot they are in here today as they are a perfect 7-0-1 to the over in their last eight Game #3's of a series and they are a lights out 15-3-3 to the over in their last 21 games where they faced a right-handed starter. Throw in the fact that these two team have gone 5-0-1 to the over in their last six head to head meetings at Citi Field along with going 9-3-1 to the over in their last thirteen meetings overall and that's where we'll have our play as we expect both starters to struggle a bit on Sunday afternoon in New York.

4 Unit Play. Take #954 Atlanta Braves +100 over St Louis Cardinals (1:35 PM, Sunday, May 7)

4 Unit Play. Take #954 Atlanta Braves +1.5 -160 over St Louis Cardinals

The Atlanta Braves will look to break their small three game losing streak when they take on the St Louis Cardinals at SunTrust Field in Atlanta, GA on Sunday afternoon. RA Dickey (3-2, 3.94 ERA, 1.38 WHIP) will get the start for the Braves and he will be opposed by Michael Wacha (2-1, 3.23 ERA, 1.14 WHIP), who is scheduled to get the call on the hill for the Cardinals. St Louis has gone just 1-5 in Wacha's last six starts versus a team from the NL East and they have lost nine of his last thirteen starts following a game where the team scored five runs or more. The Braves, on the other hand, have been pretty good in the spot they are in here today as they have won ten of their last fourteen games when facing a team with a winning record. Atlanta was playing pretty decent ball before this little three game slide so we're going to take them here on both the run line and money line as we think they have a good chance to win this one outright in Atlanta on Sunday afternoon.

4 Unit Play. Take #957 Washington Nationals -130 over Philadelphia Phillies (2:35 PM, Sunday, May 7)

The Washington Nationals will look for their fifth win in a row when they take on the Philadelphia Phillies at Citizen's Bank Park in Philadelphia, PA on Sunday afternoon. Tanner Roark (3-1, 4.04 ERA, 1.21 WHIP) will get the start for the Nationals and he will be opposed by Jeremy Hellickson (4-1, 3.18 ERA, 1.00 WHIP), who is scheduled to get the call on the hill for the Phillies. Washington has posted a perfect 6-0 record in their last six road games where they faced a team with a losing record and they have gone an excellent 16-5 in their last 21 road games overall. The Phillies, on the other hand, have struggled a bit in the spot they are in here today as they have gone just 1-6 in their last seven games following a game where they scored two runs or less and they have lost their last six games where they faced a right-handed starter. Throw in the fact that the Nats have gone a lights out 17-4 in the last 21 head to head meetings between the two teams and we'll lay the small price with them here to get the road win in Philly on Sunday afternoon.

4 Unit Play. Take #960 Colorado Rockies -120 over Arizona Diamondbacks (3:10 PM, Sunday, May 7)

The Colorado Rockies will look for their fourth win in their last five games when they take on the Arizona Diamondbacks at Coors Field in Denver, CO on Sunday afternoon. Tyler Chatwood (2-4, 5.40 ERA, 1.36 WHIP) will get the start for the Rockies and he will be opposed by Taijuan Walker (3-1, 4.19 ERA, 1.28 WHIP), who is scheduled to get the call on the hill for the Diamondbacks. Colorado has posted a 4-1 record in their last five home games when facing a team with a losing record on the road and they have gone an excellent 11-4 in their last fifteen games versus a NL West Division rival. The DBacks, on the other hand, have struggled a bit in the spot they are in here today as they have gone just 1-4 in their last five Game #3's of a series and they are an awful 19-39 in their last 58 road games going back to the middle of the 2016 season. Throw in the fact that the Rockies have gone 5-2 in Chatwood's last seven starts against Arizona and we'll lay the small price with them here to get the home win in Denver on Sunday afternoon.

4 Unit Play. Take #961/962 San Francisco Giants vs Cincinnati Reds Over 8.5 (4:10 PM, Sunday, May 7)

Two teams that have been trending to the over will meet when the San Francisco Giants take on the Reds at the Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati, OH on Sunday afternoon. Johnny Cueto (4-1, 4.86 ERA, 1.32 WHIP) will get the start for the Giants and he will be opposed by Scott Feldman (1-3, 4.83 ERA, 1.42 WHIP), who is scheduled to get the call on the hill for the Reds. The Giants have posted a perfect 4-0-1 record to the over in their last five games versus a team from the NL Central and they have gone an excellent 6-0 to the over in Cueto's last six starts. The Reds have been an over team as well in the spot they are in here today as they have gone up and over the number in ten of their last twelve games where they faced a right-handed starter and they have gone 7-1-1 to the over in their last nine Game #3's of a series. Throw in the fact that these two teams have gone 7-1-2 to the over in their last ten head to head meetings at GABP and 18-6-2 to the over in their last 26 overall and that's where we'll have our play as we expect both starters to get hit around a bit in Cincy on Sunday afternoon.

4 Unit Play. Take #963 Los Angeles Dodgers -140 over San Diego Padres (4:10 PM, Sunday, May 7)

The Los Angeles Dodgers will look for their fourth win in their last five games when they take on the Padres at Petco Park in San Diego, CA on Sunday afternoon. Brandon McCarthy (3-0, 3.10 ERA, 1.21 WHIP) will get the start for the Dodgers and he will be opposed by Trevor Cahill (2-2. 3.60 ERA, 1.17 WHIP), who is scheduled to get the call on the hill for the Padres. Los Angeles has posted a 13-6 record in their last nineteen games versus a team with a winning % of .400 or lower and they have gone an excellent 8-3 in McCarthy's last eleven starts versus an NL West Division rival. The Padres, on the other hand, have really struggled in the spot they are in here today as they have gone just 4-12 in their last sixteen games where they faced a right-handed starter and they have lost six of their last seven games after losing the first two game of a series. Throw in the fact that the Dodgers have gone a lights out 10-4 in their last fourteen trips to Petco Park and we'll lay the price with them here to get the road win in San Diego on Sunday afternoon.

4 Unit Play. Take #966 Tampa Bay Rays -135 over Toronto Blue Jays (1:10 PM, Sunday, May 7)

The Tampa Bay Rays will look for their third win in their last four games when they take on the Toronto Blue Jays at Tropicana Field in St Petersburg, FL on Sunday afternoon. Alex Cobb (2-2, 3.86 ERA, 1.43 WHIP) will get the start for the Rays and he will be opposed by Joe Biagini (0-1, 3.38 ERA, 0.96 WHIP), who will get the call on the hill for the Blue Jays. Tampa has posted a 4-1 record in their last five games where they faced a right-handed starter and they have gone an excellent 9-4 in their last thirteen home games. The Blue Jays, on the other hand, have struggled a bit in the spot they are in here today as they have lost five of their last seven road games and they are an awful 5-12 in their last seventeen road games where they faced a right-handed starter. Throw in the fact that the Rays have dominated the Jays at The Trop, winning 62 of the last 92 head to head meetings between the two teams there and we'll lay the price with them here to get the home win in St Pete on Sunday afternoon.

4 Unit Play. Take #967 Chicago White Sox +120 over Baltimore Orioles (1:35 PM, Sunday, May 7)

The Chicago White Sox will look to avoid a sweep at the hands of the Orioles when the two teams meet at Camden Yards in Baltimore, MD on Sunday afternoon. Jose Quintana (2-4, 4.10 ERA, 1.31 WHIP) will get the start for the White Sox and he will be opposed Chris Tillman (16-6, 3.78 ERA, 1.28 WHIP in 2016), who will be making his first start of the season for the Orioles. The White Sox have posted a 4-1 record in their last five games following a game where they allowed five runs or more and they have gone an excellent 7-2 in Quintana's last nine starts where he went in Game #3 of a series. The Orioles, on the other hand, have struggled a bit in the spot they are in here today as they have gone just 1-4 in their last five games where they faced a left-handed starter and they have lost six of their last eight games following a game where they scored five runs or more. Throw in the fact that the O's lost Tillman's last four home starts to close out the 2016 season and we'll take the Sox at the small underdog price to get the road win in Baltimore on Sunday afternoon.

4 Unit Play. Take #970 Minnesota Twins +150 over Boston Red Sox (2:05 PM, Sunday, May 7)

4 Unit Play. Take #969/970 Boston Red Sox vs Minnesota Twins Over 7

The Minnesota Twins will look for a series win over the Boston Red Sox when the two teams meet at Target Field in Minneapolis, MN on Sunday afternoon. Ervin Santana (5-0, 0.66 ERA, 0.71 WHIP) will get the start for the Twins and he will be opposed by Chris Sale (2-2, 1.38 ERA, 0.74 WHIP), who is scheduled to get the call on the hill for the Red Sox. The Twins have posted a perfect 4-0 record in their last four games following a game where they allowed five runs or more and they have gone an excellent 8-1 in their last nine games versus a starter with a WHIP of 1.15 or lower. The Red Sox, on the other hand, have struggled a bit in the spot they are in here today as they have gone just 3-10 in their last thirteen road games when facing a team with a winning record and they have lost six of their last seven games following a win. Throw in the fact that the Twins have won five of Santana's last six starts and we'll take them at the underdog price to get the home win in Minnesota on Sunday afternoon.

As for the total, the Twins have posted a 7-1 record to the over in their last eight games overall and they have gone an excellent 19-7-1 to the over in their last 27 games versus a team from the AL East. They have also gone 35-15-2 to the over in their last 52 Game #3's of a series and they have been an over team at Target Field, going 49-24-5 to the over in their last 78 home games. Throw in the fact that these two teams have gone 4-1-1 to the over in their last six head to head meetings at Target Field and 7-2-1 to the over in their last ten overall and that's where we'll have our play as we expect both teams to put some runs on the board in what most thing is going to be a pitcher's duel in Minny on Sunday afternoon.

4 Unit Play. Take #976 Oakland A's -105 over Detroit Tigers (4:10 PM, Sunday, May 7)

The Oakland A's will look for their third win in their last four games when they take on the Detroit Tigers at the Oakland County Coliseum in Oakland, CA on Sunday afternoon. Sonny Gray (0-1, 6.00 ERA, 1.17 WHIP) will get the start for the A's and he will be opposed by Daniel Norris (2-2, 4.00 ERA, 1.70 WHIP), who is scheduled to get the call on the hill for the Tigers. The A's have posted a 4-1 record in their last five home games where they faced a left-handed starter and they have gone an excellent 10-4 in their last fourteen games where they faced a left-handed starter. The Tigers, on the other hand, have struggled a bit in the spot they are in here today as they have gone just 2-5 in their last seven games when facing a team from the AL West and they have lost seven of their last nine road games versus a team with a winning record at home. Throw in the fact that the A's are 7-3 in Gray's last ten home starts versus a team with a winning record and a lights out 14-3 in his last seventeen starts on a Sunday afternoon and we'll take the A's at the pickem or so price to get the win in Oakland on Sunday afternoon.

4 Unit Play. Take #980 Chicago Cubs -130 over New York Yankees (8:05 PM, Sunday, May 7. ESPN)

The Chicago Cubs will look to avoid a three-game sweep at the hands of the New York Yankees when the two teams meet at Wrigley Field in Chicago, IL on Sunday night. Jon Lester (1-1, 3.67 ERA, 1.49 WHIP) will get the start for the Cubs and he will be opposed by Luis Severino (2-2, 3.86 ERA, 0.95 WHIP), who is scheduled to get the call on the hill for the Yankees. Chicago has posted a 4-1 record in their last five games where they faced a pitcher with a WHIP of 1.15 of lower and they have gone an excellent 13-4 in their last seventeen games versus a team with a winning % of .600 or higher. The Yankees, on the other hand, have struggled a bit in the spot they are in here tonight as they have gone just 1-5 in their last six interleague road games where they faced a left-handed starter and they have lost thirteen of Severino's last seventeen starts. Throw in the fact that the Cubs are an impressive 13-3 in Lester's last sixteen starts when facing a team with a winning record going back to the 2016 season and we'll lay the price with them here to get the home win in Chicago on Sunday night.

4 Unit Play. Take #993/994 Grand Salami Over 132.5 Runs (Sunday, May 7)

These are all your MLB Plays for today. Your next MLB update will be Monday, May 8, 2017.
