7-Unit Play. #403. Take Southern Cal -17 over California (3:30pm est)
This could get ugly as there is a reason why USC is favored as big as they are over California. Sure, Cal could cover this game off the high they just had in beating the SEC squad in Ole Miss. However, this team is more likely to have a let down as they face a USC team that is more than irritated at nearly losing to Texas in embarassing fashion at home. Remember, USC has won this game straight up for 10 years+ and has covered this line in back to back years and 7 of 8 years. USC is the same team that drilled Stanford by 18 points earlier this year, a coach in Helton who is angry at how he was treated last year and the same team that started slow against Texas and nearly lost. You have a California team that has the 114th ranked defense in the nation and 126th in passing yards allowed - not good. This team gave up 30 points to UNC, 20 to Weber a FCS school and to their credit held Ole Miss to 16 points. But, what a statement USC would make if they routed this team by a considerable margin right after California comes off the big Ole Miss win. What a statement it would be for USC to beat a 3-0 California team and take advantage of their porous defense. USC sports the 13th best offense in the nation and a respectable defense of 57th. This will be a game where USC lays the law down and wins and possibly wins big. We like USC 42-17 this Saturday Afternoon.

3-Unit Play. #370. Take Troy -15 over Akron (6pm est)

    3-Unit Play. #370. Take Troy -15 over Akron (Saturday @ 6pm est)
We like Troy for the big win here against Akron this Saturday Night. Don't sleep on this Troy team as this is a team that went to a Bowl game last year where they beat a good Ohio team. Remember, Troy lost to Clemson last year 24-30 as a 34.5 point underdog at Clemson. They went 10-3 last year including the Bowl win and they were just 2 years removed from going 3-8. So, this is a team that is trending upward and has had a very good season thus far as they lost to Boise State 13-24 as a 10.5 point underdog (which shows how much respect the oddsmakers had for this team) and sits at 2-1. However, they are 0-3 ATS and they only beat New Mexico State by 3 points as a 9.5 point favorites. If there was a team that this team will get up for, it is certainly Akron. We know that Troy has LSU on deck but we don't think it is going to matter here. Troy will not overlook a team like Akron. Troy is 32nd in the country in defense, the same team that held Boise State to 24 points at Boise State and a team who is irritated it gave up 24 points to New Mexico State. Akron is 116th in the nation in total yards and a consistent 98th and 99th in passing and rushing yards. Their defense is also ranked 90th in the nation. This team just played Iowa State who is 78th in defense and lost 10-41 and now they have to play an even better defense. At the end of the day, Troy's defense is their key and that will likely carry the day and this game will speak volumes if Troy can win and win big against an other mid-major squad. Troy also needs a big win for this program as well and a team like Akron can provide that for them. The question begs, how will Akron score in this game against such a defense like Troy and therefore we like Troy for the win and cover here.

3 Unit Play. Take #367 Over 56 Syracuse at LSU (7:00p.m., Saturday September 23 ESPN2)
I know the LSU Tigers have some injuries on offense but since they get this game at home in Tiger Stadium we should see a lot more offense then last week on the road against Mississippi St. Syracuse is coming off a home win over Central Michigan winning 41-17 and I know the Chippewas defense is not even close to LSU but I do see both teams scoring Saturday night. Syracuse last 4 games against SEC schools all 4 of them have gone over and I see the LSU Tigers throwing up a big number on offense.

5 Unit Play. Take #372 Middle Tennessee St -7 over Bowling Green (7:00p.m., Saturday September 23)

The Blue Raiders of Middle Tennessee St look for revenge after a blowout loss last weekend to Minnesota and what a better way to get back to winning then playing a struggling team at home. Bowling Green comes to Floyd Stadium winless 0-3 and they are 0-3 ATS this young football season and I see them losing 4-straight. Blue Raiders quarterback Brent Stockstill is questionable and if he plays this number will be bet up and I'm little shocked that this number is not 9 points or higher. With Bowling Green ranked 120th in scoring offense and having to play this game on the road against a team that was beat down last week I see the Blue Raiders winning and winning by double-digits. Bowling Green is 0-8 in their last 8 non-conference games and the Blue Raiders are 5-1 ATS following a SU loss.

3 Unit Play. Take #391 San Diego St -3 over Air Force (7:00p.m., Saturday September 23 CBSC)

Air Force struggled last week against the Michigan Wolverines on offense and if they struggle Saturday night against the Aztecs defense we should see the Force go down at home. San Diego St is coming off a big home win last week against Stanford and won on the road against Arizona St and right now the Aztecs are just the better team. San Diego St is 15-5-1 ATS in their last 21 conference games and Air Force is 1-6 ATS in their last 7 conference games.

6 Unit Play. Take #404 California +17 over USC (3:30p.m., Saturday September 23 ABC)

The USC Trojans have been a really confusing team so far this very young football season. We had Stanford against USC a couple weeks ago and USC easily beats them but last Saturday the Trojans struggle to beat Texas. The Cal Bears look to stay perfect this season and they are coming off a big win over Ole Mis last Saturday 27-16 and Saturday late afternoon I see the Cal Bears keeping this game close at home. This game on Saturday is USC first road game amd if the Trojans struggle on offense I see Cal keeping this game very interesting and wouldn't shock me to see USC winning this game by a touchdown or less. The Cal Bears defense has struggled at times but they are creating turnovers left and right and if they can win the turnover battle again the Cal Bears will hang around all four quarters. A bit shocked that this number moved +17 during the week and with Cal getting this game in their backyard I see the Bears covering this double-digit number. USC is 3-7 ATS in their last 10 road games and the Cal Bears are 6-2 ATS after allowing 20 points or less in their last game.

    Game 318 - Iowa (+12.5)
Edges - Hawkeyes: Ferentz 19-5-1 ATS with personal loss revenge, including 11-0-1 ATS the last twelve; and 11-0-1 ATS; and 7-1 ATS as conference home dog of more than 7 points with revenge, including 4-0-1 ATS with triple revenge… Lions: 5-9 SUATS in this series, including 1-3 SU and 0-4 ATS as favorites of more than 8 points…We cement the play knowing Ferentz is 9-3 ATS as a home dog of more than 7 points with 2-1 SU and 3-0 ATS versus undefeated foes (beat Michigan, 14-13, here as 24-point dogs in this role last year). With that,

    Game 380 - Vanderbilt (+18.5)
Edges - Commodores: 7-1 ATS home following consecutive home games; and 9-2 ATS as dogs of 15 or more points; and Crimson Tide: Saban 0-4 ATS as favorite of 15 or more points in match-ups of undefeated teams when coming off a non-conference games… It's our Perfect System Club that cements it, though, as it tells us to: PLAY ON any undefeated college football double-digit home dog that was a bowl team last season if they beat the spread by 8 or more points in their last game and are facing an undefeated opponent that allows 13 or more points per game. That's because these teams are an incredible 15-1 SU and 16-0 ATS in this role since 2000.

    Game 404 - California (+17.5)
Edges - Bears: 2-0 SUATS as double-digit home dogs following a SU underdog win… Trojans: 3-9 ATS as conference road favorites of 14 or more points… We cement the play with this from the well-oiled machine: CFB road favorites off an OT win are 4-13 ATS when facing a foe off a SUATS win, including 0-7 ATS if the foe won 5 or less game the previous year.

    GC: CFB Play

Saturday card has the 100% SEC System Game of the Year headlining a huge college card with several top system plays. Football ranked #1 overall combined the last 3 years. Top MLB Play cashes on Friday. College football Comp play below.

The comp play for Saturday is on South Alabama at 2:00 eastern. South Alabama is 1-2 but to be fair 2 of those losses were to Ok. St and Ole Miss. They fit solid systems we use today that play on home teams that are a favorite from -2 to -33 that scored 40 or more in a home shutout win vs a team like Idaho that is off a loss, This system cashes over 80% long term. In fact home teams that are one game under .500 in game 4 that were winning teams last season flat out get it done covering 29 of 38 times the last 27 years. Idaho has not played any where near as tough a schedule as South Alabama. Look for the home team to get the cash today. On Saturday a massive card is up and led by the SEC Game of the year and has several top plays all from long term power systems. Football is ranked #1 on top leader boards combined over the last 3 seasons. Message to jump on. For the College Football free play. Take South Alabama. GC
