6 Unit Play. Take #474 Houston +1 over Kansas City (8:30p.m., Sunday October 8)

Week #1 we were all bashing the Houston Texans as they lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars 29-7 but since then this Houston team is nothing like that Week #1 team. The Texans are coming off a dominating home win last Sunday 57-14 and when was the last time the Texans scored over 50 points in a single game. Houston rookie QB Deshaun Watson has been nothing but outstanding in his first 3 starts going 2-1 and that one loss was at New England but lost only by 3-points 36-33. Kansas City is coming off a big win Monday Night win over Washington 29-20 and the Chiefs are the only team that is perfect. Too bad that perfect record goes bye-bye Sunday night at NRG Stadium as I see the Texans offense continuing to pile up big numbers. I know the Chiefs have been the most impressive and shocking team this young season but with preparing for the Texans on a short week I see the Texans winning at home. Great QB matchup for this game as rookie QB Watson goes up against Alex Smith but defense wins this game and the Texans 'D' shows up at home Sunday night.

4 Unit Play. Take #468 Los Angeles Rams 'Pick' over Seattle (4:05p.m., Sunday October 8)

The Seattle Seahawks are .500 this year and their 2 wins are from the Indianapolis Colts 46-18 and the San Francisco 49ers 12-9 and both of those teams do not play like the Rams. The Rams come back home after 2-straight road wins beating the Cowboys 35-30 and 49ers 41-39 and Thursday the Rams take control of the Seahawks in the second half. I know the Rams have dropped 8 out of 10 home games but these LA Rams are balance on both sides of the ball and if Gurley gets going on the ground the Rams will have no problem winning their 3rd straight game. With the Seahawks continuing to struggle on offense and the Rams throwing up big offensive numbers I'm taking LA and the Rams win by 6-points or more. Seattle is 1-5 ATS against NFC teams and the Seahawks are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 road games. The home team in this series is 7-1 ATS and the Rams continue to win big games this young NFL season.

3 Unit Play. Take #466 Detroit -2.5 over Carolina (1:00p.m., Sunday October 8)

We are know what happen at Ford Field the last time the Lions plays but this Sunday the Lions won't but themselves in that position. Both teams come into this game winners of 3 out 4 games and both teams pulled off road wins last weekend but Ford Field hold home field and the Lions wins this game laying the small number. In my point of view the Panthers have been a big question mark squad. Are we going to see a Panthers teams that beat a Patriots team or team that was dominated at home in the Saints. Give me Matthew Stafford and a balance offense over the Carolina Panthers. Carolina is 2-7-1 ATS following a SU win and the Lions are 19-7 ATS after scoring 15 points or less in their last game.

6-Unit Play. #461. Take Over 44.5 San Francisco 49ers vs. Indianapolis Colts (Sunday @ 1pm est)

What if I told you that both these teams who don't have many wins will break out on offense this week? That will likely be the case. You have a San Fran team that is 18th in the league in rushing, with an offensive minded coach who just had a game where his team scored 15 points with overtime. This team had scored 39 points prior to that and that was a breakout from having played Seattle and Carolina's defense. They just faced Arizona's defense and their offense is much better than what is shown and will break out against one of the worst defenses in the NFL in Indianapolis. The Colts could show some heart early on after giving up 40 points to Seattle, but remember, this team had given up 46 to the Rams and 28 to the Browns as well. This is the same Colts team that was doing very well against Seattle in the first half and does have talent on the wings and should do decent against a San Fran team that is 24th in the league in passing yards allowed. Don't undersestimate these offenses as they are waiting to burst out and it likely happens in this game as the Over is 6-2 for the Colts when they face a team with a losing record and each time San Fran has faced a defense outside the top 15, they have done well per scoring points so far.
