    Woodbine - Race #2 - Post: 1:37pm - Maiden Claiming - 5.0 furlongs on the Dirt. Purse: $16,600 Class Rating: 66

    Rating: 4

    #8 RHOSGOBEL (ML=9/2)
    #2 BLUE PEARLS (ML=12/1)

RHOSGOBEL - Moves back to a trip at which she ran a rating good enough to make her a contender today. BLUE PEARLS - Wilson and Buttigieg perform well when they team up. It's hard to beat a +189 ROI for a jockey and trainer. This filly should be in fine form, this far into her form cycle.

    Vulnerable Contenders: #7 ZLATICA (ML=5/2), #4 OUR MISS MAGGIE (ML=3/1), #1 FLEEK (ML=7/2),

ZLATICA - This morning-line choice hasn't been to the track in awhile. No works since last race. This equine doesn't have a champion's disposition. Always finishes near the winner. OUR MISS MAGGIE - Tough to take this pony at the odds after the finish (sixth) in the last event. FLEEK - Speed ratings of 69/54/33 are pointed the wrong way. The speed fig last time around the track doesn't fit very well in this race when I look at the class rating of today's affair. Mark this horse as a possibly overvalued equine.

    STRAIGHT WAGERS:
Bet on #8 RHOSGOBEL to win if you can get at least 9/5 odds

    Preview: Pistons at WIzards

    Gracenote
    Oct 19, 2017

The Washington Wizards plan to do big things this season, and getting off to a hot start will certainly help. The Wizards outlasted the upstart Philadelphia 76ers in their opener on Wednesday and will try to make it two wins in a row to begin the campaign when they host the Detroit Pistons on Friday.

Washington's only major move over the summer was locking up small forward Otto Porter Jr. with a contract extension, and the team is counting on growth from around its roster to help challenge for an Eastern Conference title. Kelly Oubre Jr. began to emerge last season and earned a larger role in 2017-18, which he cemented with 14 points and eight rebounds in 32 minutes off the bench in Wednesday's 120-115 triumph. The Pistons' biggest move in the offseason was bringing in shooting guard Avery Bradley, and he made himself at home in a 102-90 win over the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday by bringing some intensity to the defensive end. "We had a defensive mentality," Bradley told reporters. "I felt like the ball was moving well, it was spread out around the court. We played well as a team (Wednesday). This is the way we need to play every single game."

TV: 7 p.m. ET, FS Detroit-plus, NBSC Washington

ABOUT THE PISTONS (1-0): Detroit had the added hype of playing its first game in the new downtown arena on Wednesday and will have to find a way to keep that intensity going on the road after posting a 13-28 record away from home while missing the playoffs last season. Small forward Tobias Harris led the way with 27 points in Wednesday's win and sees a big improvement in the team's attitude. "A big emphasis for us and our coaching staff is to get guys to (play to) their greatness, to their spots where they're capable of making plays and being effective," Harris told reporters. "Especially (Wednesday) we were able to do that and really exploit that."

    ABOUT THE WIZARDS (1-0):
Oubre averaged 20.3 minutes and 6.3 points off the bench last season but became a favorite of his teammates for a willingness to do the little things. "Last year, we said that he was the 'X' factor to our team and that he was a big key," All-Star point guard John Wall told reporters of Oubre after Wednesday's win. "He used that as motivation through the summer. I can be honest with you and tell the truth that ever since training camp and practice, he's been doing great. He's been coming in challenging, making plays and just being smart at it." Wall got his season off to a decent start with 28 points and eight assists but was just 10-of-28 from the field.

    BUZZER BEATERS

    1. Pistons SF Stanley Johnson played a team-high 40 minutes on Wednesday but managed only two points and went 0-of-13 from the floor.

    2. Washington PF Jason Smith (shoulder sprain) left Wednesday's game and is questionable for Friday.

    3. The Wizards took two of the three matchups last season, including a 122-108 triumph in the lone meeting in Washington.

    PREDICTION: Wizards 109, Pistons 106

    Preview: Cavaliers at Bucks

    Gracenote
    Oct 19, 2017

The heir to LeBron James' throne as the best all-around player in the NBA could be Giannis Antetokounmpo, though James doesn't appear ready to give up his spot. The two will square off when Antetokounmpo's Milwaukee Bucks host James' Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday.

Antetokounmpo, 22, was strong in his 2017-18 debut on Wednesday, collecting 37 points on 13-of-22 shooting, 13 rebounds, three assists and three steals in a 108-100 win at the Boston Celtics. "We always hold the bar high for Giannis," Bucks coach Jason Kidd told reporters. "For his opening day performance, he set the bar high now and we're going to hold him to that." James, 32, came up one assist shy of a triple-double in his 2017-18 debut with 29 points, 16 rebounds and nine assists in a win over that same Boston team. "For a guy who has been out for most of training camp and to come back and play those minutes that he played, hit the shots he did -- we lean on him," Cleveland guard Dwyane Wade told ESPN.com of James, who sat out most of the preseason with an ankle injury. "We're going to depend on him, and this is why he's one of the greatest to do it. Not many people can do what he's done."

TV: 7 p.m. ET, ESPN, FS Ohio (Cleveland), FS Wisconsin (Milwaukee)

ABOUT THE CAVALIERS (1-0): Cleveland has eight new players on a team that went to the NBA Finals in each of the last three years, and point guard Derrick Rose was the best of the bunch with 14 points and four rebounds in 31 minutes in Tuesday's opener. Wade, who signed to play with James after being bought out of his contract with the Chicago Bulls, managed eight points in 29 minutes in his Cavaliers debut. The arrivals of Rose and Wade pushed former starter J.R. Smith to the bench, but he responded with a solid game and paced the reserves with 10 points on 4-of-7 shooting in 22 minutes.

ABOUT THE BUCKS (1-0): Milwaukee bowed out in the first round of the playoffs last spring and has not advanced past the first round since the 2000-01 campaign, and Antetokounmpo is focused on the larger team goals already in 2017-18. "I think we're capable of doing big things this year," Antetokounmpo told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel after Wednesday's win. "We've just got to stay focused, stay grounded ... and try to have the same mentality. We're the underdogs. We're not a big market team, we're not a big team, we're young, so we've just to play with a chip on our shoulder and hopefully this season we can be one of the best teams in the East." Antetokounmpo has some help from reigning Rookie of the Year Malcolm Brogdon, who scored 19 points on 6-of-10 shooting on Wednesday while holding Boston star Kyrie Irving to 7-of-25 from the floor.

    BUZZER BEATERS

    1. Bucks SF Khris Middleton led the team with six assists on Wednesday.

    2. Kevin Love made his debut as a starting C for the Cavaliers on Tuesday and responded with 15 points and 11 rebounds.

    3. Cleveland took three of four in the series last season and six of the last seven meetings overall.

    PREDICTION: Cavaliers 106, Bucks 103

    Preview: Trail Blazers at Pacers

    Gracenote
    Oct 19, 2017

The Portland Trail Blazers just secured the largest margin of victory in an opener in NBA history, and they didn't even have their second-best scorer available. The Trail Blazers will try to follow up a stunning performance and welcome CJ McCollum back from suspension when they visit the Indiana Pacers on Friday.

Portland cruised to a 124-76 win at the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday -- the second-largest margin of victory in franchise history -- while dominating the glass (57-33) and knocking down 14-of-24 from 3-point range but was already looking ahead after the game. "Probably don't read too much into (the win) because it's a long season," Trail Blazers coach Terry Stotts told reporters. "Obviously we're pleased with it, but Indiana is a new day. You can't rest on it. It's a great way to start the season, particularly the manner in which we did it, but the next game is the next game." The Pacers were impressive in their opener as well -- at least on the offensive end -- while putting eight scorers in double figures in a 140-131 triumph over the Brooklyn Nets. "It was a great first night and hopefully Pacers fans get a chance to see what we're capable of and what type of basketball team we are," Indiana guard Victor Oladipo told reporters. "Obviously, it wasn't perfect and there are some things we want to get better and improve at; but it's always great to get a win in the NBA."

TV: 7 p.m. ET, NBCS Northwest (Portland), FS Indiana

ABOUT THE TRAIL BLAZERS (1-0): With McCollum serving a one-game suspension for coming off the bench during an altercation in a preseason game, reserve guard Pat Connaughton stepped up with a career-high 24 points. "For me, it was just about making sure I got into the flow of the game with a few easy baskets," Connaughton told reporters. "It's not something where I ever expected to be 'feeling it.' My teammates found me when I had open shots and I was trying to make sure I made plays for them to get them some easy baskets." Connaughton hit 4-of-7 3-point attempts while star point guard Damian Lillard knocked down 4-of-6 from beyond the arc en route to a team-high 27 points.

    ABOUT THE PACERS (1-0):
Indiana made an effort in training camp to install a faster-paced offense that moved the ball more after trading away ball-stopping star Paul George, and the results were positive on opening night as three players scored 20 or more points and the team totaled 29 assists while shooting 52 percent from the floor. Point guard Darren Collison -- one of three new starters -- handed out 11 of those assists and scored 21 points on 9-of-12 shooting. "It was a good showing for us offensively," Collison told reporters. "I think guys did a good job of doing exactly what Coach has been training us all summer to do, getting out on the break and being one of the best conditioned teams in the NBA. This early in the season you don't usually see teams pushing the ball the way we did and we got out on the break and got some easy opportunities."

    BUZZER BEATERS

    1. Pacers C Al Jefferson (personal) missed the opener and is questionable for Friday.

    2. Portland SG Evan Turner started in McCollum's spot on Wednesday and scored 12 points on 4-of-8 shooting.

    3. Indiana snapped a five-game losing streak in the series with a 118-111 home win in the last meeting on Dec. 16.

PREDICTION: Trail Blazers 125, Pacers 120

    Preview: Celtics at 76ers

    Gracenote
    Oct 19, 2017

It's hard to imagine a worse start to the season for the revamped Boston Celtics, who aim for their first win when they visit the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday. After losing free-agent signee Gordon Hayward to a gruesome leg injury minutes into their season-opening loss at Cleveland, the Celtics returned to TD Garden and dropped their home opener Wednesday night against Milwaukee.

Kyrie Irving was just 7-for-25 from the floor in his debut in Boston and was part of a crew that was dominated down the stretch in the 108-100 loss. "The reliance comes on the vets on this team and it trickles all the way down to the 15th guy," Irving told reporters. "We gotta ... remain confident, unwavering in our approach, and we'll be fine." While the Celtics very well could tumble from the No. 1 spot in the Eastern Conference they earned last season, the 76ers are hoping to climb the ladder and showed some promise in a 120-115 loss at Washington on Wednesday. Ben Simmons finished with 18 points, 10 rebounds and five assists for Philadelphia in his first career game after missing last season due to foot surgery.

TV: 7 p.m. ET, NBCSN Boston, NBCSN Philadelphia

ABOUT THE CELTICS (0-2): Marcus Smart replaced Hayward in the starting lineup and finished with 12 points and three of Boston's 12 steals against Milwaukee. Backup Terry Rozier added a pair of thefts to go along with 15 points, seven rebounds and six assists in a quality 27-minute showing, although he was quite aware of the potential growing pains for a roster that has undergone such a complete makeover. "We messed up on a lot of plays," Rozier told the media. "That can't happen. Like (coach Brad Stevens) said after the game: We're professionals, so we better learn the plays or we won't play."

ABOUT THE 76ERS (0-1): Center Joel Embiid said he was going to get around 16 minutes in the opener as he returns from a knee ailment, but the big man saw 27 minutes of action and delivered with 18 points and 13 boards. "I think the plan is just get out there, play, and see how I feel," he told reporters. "There's gonna be some games I'm going to be sore, and I'm going to be tired. That's where they're going to have to take me out. But we've gotta stop calling it a minutes restriction." All five starters scored in double figures for Philadelphia in the opener and rookie Markelle Fultz was the lone reserve to do so with 10 points in 18 minutes.

    BUZZER BEATERS

    1. SF Robert Covington led the Sixers in their opener with 29 points while making 7-of-11 3-pointers.

    2. Philadelphia made 16 fewer free throws than Washington and Boston has hit 16 fewer than its opponents on the season.

    3. Celtics rookie SF Jayson Tatum is averaging 11 points and 9.5 rebounds through the first two games.

    Preview: Hawks at Hornets

    Gracenote
    Oct 19, 2017

The Charlotte Hornets have averaged the fewest turnovers in the NBA each of the past four seasons, but taking care of the ball will be a focal point in Friday’s home opener against the Atlanta Hawks. Charlotte struggled in Wednesday’s 102-90 loss at Detroit, committing 17 turnovers (more than five per game more than it averaged last season) as two newcomers – veteran center Dwight Howard and rookie guard Dwayne Bacon – made their debuts in the Hornets' starting lineup.

“We’ve just got to be better with the ball,” Howard told reporters after scoring 10 points with 15 rebounds and two blocked shots. “We’ve got to be more strong when we get it, when opponents put us on our heels.” Howard gets a chance in his first home game with his new team to face his old team, as Atlanta comes to town following an impressive 117-111 victory at Dallas in its season opener Wednesday. On a roster full of newcomers and inexperienced players, veteran Marco Belinelli hit on 4-of-6 3-point attempts off the bench in scoring 20 points. “It’s just great to have somebody like that coming off the bench and looking for his shots,” point guard Dennis Schroder told the media in describing Belinelli’s performance.

TV: 7 p.m. ET, FSN Southeast (Atlanta), FSN Southeast (Charlotte)

ABOUT THE HAWKS (1-0): Schroder was outstanding in his season debut, shooting 13-of-26 from the field for 28 points to go with seven assists. Second-year forward Taurean Prince pulled down 10 rebounds, and rookie forward John Collins scored 14 points with five rebounds in his NBA debut. Atlanta’s bench finished with 57 points on 56.1 percent shooting from the field.

ABOUT THE HORNETS (0-1): The turnovers proved problematic as Detroit finished the night with 26 points off Hornets’ miscues, and shot 52 percent from the field against Charlotte's defense in the opening quarter. Guard Kemba Walker scored 24 points with six rebounds and four assists, but the rest of the Hornets shot just 38.3 percent from the field. Cody Zeller came off the bench to score eight points with nine rebounds.

    BUZZER BEATERS

    1. Atlanta shot 51.1 percent from the field, 50 percent from 3-point range, 80 percent from the free-throw line and recorded 50 rebounds in the opener, reaching those marks in the same game for the first time since Jan. 30, 1993 vs. Philadelphia.

    2. The Hornets played Wednesday without G Nicolas Batum (elbow) and F Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (excused personal absence).

    3. Charlotte won three of the four meetings with Atlanta last season, before sending Belinelli and Miles Plumlee to the Hawks for Howard in the offseason.

    PREDICTION: Hornets 106, Hawks 101

    Preview: Magic at Nets

    Gracenote
    Oct 19, 2017

The Orlando Magic would like to put the memories of a disappointing season behind them quickly and knocking off the Brooklyn Nets on Friday night for their second victory to open the season would be a good start to the process. Orlando, which won just 29 games in 2016-17, held off a Miami rally to take its season debut 116-109 at home on Wednesday as guard Evan Fournier poured in 23 points.

“We can’t feel too good about (beating the Heat),” Magic coach Frank Vogel told the Orlando Sentinel. “We’ve got to go in there hungry and fight like we did (in the opener). I was proud of the level of fight that we exhibited. And we’ve got to show that again in Brooklyn.” The Nets were the worst team in the NBA a season ago and made several key offseason changes, but suffered more than a setback in their season opener when guard Jeremy Lin was lost for the season with a ruptured patella tendon. Newcomer D’Angelo Russell scored 30 points as Brooklyn’s offense thrived, but the Nets fell 140-131 on Wednesday against Indiana. “I thought we completely broke down defensively,” Brooklyn coach Kenny Atkinson told reporters. “I wish I could sit here and say there was one area, but it was a multitude of things.”

TV: 7:30 p.m. ET, FSN Florida (Orlando), YES (Brooklyn)

ABOUT THE MAGIC (1-0): Fournier, who topped the team in scoring a season ago, led six players scoring in double figures against Miami and veteran center Nikola Vucevic contributed 19 points and 13 rebounds. Guard Terrence Ross, who had been hampered by a hamstring injury, scored 15 points with three 3-pointers in the opener and had just one turnover in 31 minutes. Newcomer Jonathon Simmons chipped in with 12 points in his Magic debut while first-round pick Jonathan Isaac registered four points, eight rebounds and two blocks.

ABOUT THE NETS (0-1): Russell connected on 12-of-22 shots from the field and power forward Trevor Booker came off the bench to post 20 points and 10 rebounds to key the Brooklyn offense Wednesday. Lin scored 18 points before the injury, but Allen Crabbe and Caris LeVert will likely take most of his minutes at shooting guard after recording a dozen points apiece against Indiana. Small forward Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, who averaged 8.7 points in 78 games last season, scored 14 in the opener with four rebounds and two assists in 28 minutes.

    BUZZER BEATERS

    1. The Magic have won six of the last seven meetings, but dropped a 121-111 decision at Brooklyn last season.

    2. Brooklyn SF DeMarre Carroll, who is expected to help the team’s defense, had 10 points and nine rebounds in his Nets' debut.

    3. Orlando SG Arron Afflalo, who averaged 17.4 points with the Magic from 2012-14, did not play in his return to the team Wednesday.

    PREDICTION: Magic 115, Nets 104

    Preview: Jazz at Timberwolves

    Gracenote
    Oct 19, 2017

The new-look Minnesota Timberwolves stumbled out of the gate with some meager contributions from a handful of newcomers. The Utah Jazz had no such issues with a retooled roster in their opener and look to stay perfect on the young season when they visit the Timberwolves on Friday night.

Playing their first game since losing longtime star Gordon Hayward to free agency, the Jazz rallied around holdover Alec Burks (16 points in 15 minutes) in a 106-96 win over Denver on Wednesday. "It's surreal," Burks - who averaged just 33.3 games over the last three seasons due to injury - told reporters. "I've been through a lot, injury-wise. It's just great to be out there healthy. ... I was aggressive and things happened to open up. Teams start relaxing. Things happen." Andrew Wiggins scored 26 points to lead Minnesota in its 107-99 loss to San Antonio and Karl-Anthony Towns added 18 and 13 rebounds. Imports Jimmy Butler, Jeff Teague and Taj Gibson combined for 29 points on 11-of-29 shooting.

TV: 8 p.m. ET, AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain (Utah), FS North (Minnesota)

ABOUT THE JAZZ (1-0): Utah led the NBA in scoring defense last season (96.8 points per game) and was right on that mark in the opener, limiting the Nuggets to 13 fourth-quarter points and forcing 22 turnovers overall. "I think we were persistent defensively — we talked about the defensive identity," coach Quin Snyder said while pointing out the contributions on that end of the floor by forwards Derrick Favors, Thabo Sefolosha and Ekpe Udoh. Center Rudy Gobert led five players in double figures with 18 points and hauled in a team-high 10 boards.

ABOUT THE TIMBERWOLVES (0-1): Teague was brought in as a potentially stabilizing presence at the point guard position, but he saw backup Tyus Jones get just as much action and guide the team down the stretch. Jones finished with a plus-nine rating while Teague was minus-17 as the starters were largely outplayed by San Antonio's first five. Veteran Jamal Crawford had a solid debut with the team by chipping in 10 points and five assists off the bench.

    BUZZER BEATERS

    1. Jazz SF Joe Ingles made 3-of-5 3-pointers in the opener after finishing fourth in the NBA last season from beyond the arc at 44.1 percent.

    Preview: Kings at Mavericks

    Gracenote
    Oct 19, 2017

The Sacramento Kings and Dallas Mavericks were picked by many to finish near the bottom of the Western Conference and both squads will be searching for their first wins when they tangle Friday night in Texas. The Mavericks withered late in a 117-111 home loss to Atlanta to begin the 20th season in Dallas for forward Dirk Nowitzki, who struggled to 10 points on 4-of-14 shooting.

The bright spots for Dallas were the solid debut for 19-year-old rookie point guard Dennis Smith Jr. (16 points, 10 assists) and a 6-of-6 effort - to go along with 11 rebounds - for backup forward Nerlens Noel. Justin Jackson, who tangled with Smith last year in the ACC, was limited to five points in 19 minutes in his debut for the Kings during a season-opening 105-100 loss to Houston. Fellow rookie De'Aaron Fox fared much better, amassing 14 points, five assists and four rebounds off the bench for Sacramento. Dallas has taken 23 of the last 25 meetings with the Kings at home.

TV: 8:30 p.m. ET, NBCSN California (Sacramento), FS Southwest (Dallas)

ABOUT THE KINGS (0-1): Fox - who is nearly a month younger than Smith - put forth an effort that provided an early glimpse of a potential franchise cornerstone. "Even though I've seen him for the last month or so, it's something to see," guard Garrett Temple told reporters. "When those lights go on, his ability to get into the paint and push the pace is something I haven't seen, besides John Wall. When he gets it going, picks his spots, when he gets that jumper down he is going to be hard to guard." Willie Cauley-Stein led the Kings with 21 points and 10 rebounds in the loss to Houston while veteran point guard George Hill had 16 points in his team debut.

ABOUT THE MAVERICKS (0-1): Smith surpassed Nowitzki as the youngest player to start for the Mavericks and has said all the right things so far, displaying a leadership quality that could carry the organization for years. "I've been playing basketball for so long, at the end of the day, age is not a factor,'' Smith told reporters. "We'll watch the film and come back ready to go Friday.'' Forward Harrison Barnes averaged nearly three points fewer after the All-Star break than he did before it last season, and he opened this campaign by missing all six of his 3-point attempts while shooting 3-of-13 overall.

    EXTRA POINTS

    1. The Mavericks attempted 45 3-pointers in the loss to the Hawks, who took just 18 from beyond the arc.

    2. Kings G Buddy Hield, who had 19 points against Houston, hit 7-of-14 3-pointers in his three games versus Dallas last season.

    3. Nowitzki has 1,782 career 3-pointers, five behind Rashard Lewis for 13th on the NBA's all-time list.

    PREDICTION: Mavericks 114, Kings 109

    Preview: Warriors at Pelicans

    Gracenote
    Oct 19, 2017

The Golden State Warriors began last season with a loss and still managed to cruise to the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference and a second NBA title in three years, and they are hoping that trend continues. The Warriors will try to avoid rare back-to-back losses when they begin their first road trip of 2017-18 by visiting the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday.

Golden State shot 53.8 percent from the field, 16-of-30 from 3-point range and handed out 34 assists on 43 field goals but still fell 122-121 to the Houston Rockets on Tuesday after squandering a lead as large as 17 points. "I just thought we looked tired," Warriors coach Steve Kerr told reporters. "I don't think we are in good enough shape yet to play a 48-minute game against a great team." The Pelicans are coming off an opening loss as well despite big men Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins both recording double-doubles, and coach Alvin Gentry is already thinking about some changes. "I think we need to tweak the system some, obviously, but I just thought that we played a little bit too much in isolation," Gentry told reporters after the 103-91 loss at Memphis. "...If you're going to play isolation basketball, they load up and they take away all the driving lanes, so we have to do that by keeping our spacing on the floor and making basket cuts and then relocating on the floor."

TV: 9:30 p.m. ET, ESPN, NBCS Bay Area (Golden State), FS New Orleans

ABOUT THE WARRIORS (0-1): Reigning NBA Defensive Player of the Year Draymond Green collected nine points, 13 assists and 11 rebounds on Tuesday but left before the start of the fourth quarter with a knee strain. Green underwent an MRI on Wednesday that came back clean, but he is not expected to play on Friday. "He was our best player tonight," Kerr told reporters of Green after Tuesday's loss. "He was the guy who was bringing the energy and the life. We didn't have much energy from most of our group tonight. ... When you are lacking conditioning, like we are right now, you have to have high-energy guys out there. As soon as he went out of the game, things went south for us. We just couldn't get any traction."

    ABOUT THE PELICANS (0-1):
Davis collected 33 points and 18 rebounds on Wednesday while Cousins contributed 28 points, 10 boards and seven blocks, but New Orleans managed only 57 points in the final three quarters after coming out strong with 34 in the first. "I thought we started the first quarter playing the way we should," Gentry told reporters. "I thought we had good ball movement. We got good shots. From there on out I thought that our ball movement wasn't very good. We had eight assists in the first quarter, then we had seven the rest of the way." The Pelicans are missing their best ball mover in point guard Rajon Rondo, who is not expected back until late next month after undergoing hernia surgery.

    BUZZER BEATERS

    1. Warriors F Andre Iguodala (back) sat out the opener but is expected to play on Friday.

    2. New Orleans C Alexis Ajinca (knee) is questionable for Friday after missing the opener.

    3. Golden State took the last 11 meetings in the series, including a first-round sweep in the 2015 playoffs.

    PREDICTION: Warriors 119, Pelicans 102
