For Monday, Top-Rated 1000♦ is the Kansas City Chiefs minus the points. At 7:30 am eastern time, the Chiefs are the -7 point favorites in Vegas and offshore. I do advise buying the half-point down on KC if the line you get is either -7 or -7 1/2 points.
This AFC West rivalry has taken a turn in the Chiefs favor, as Kansas City has responded to a 7-game series losing streak by taking the last 3 series meetings against Denver, both straight up and against the spread. Included is a 33-10 whipping by KC over Denver at Arrowhead Stadium last season.
Go ahead and lay the wood with the Chiefs this Monday night, as Kansas City has had a few extra-days to stew over losing their second in a row in that Thursday night affair at Oakland when they drew a pair of defensive penalties with no time on the clock and that allowed the Raiders to rally for the victory.
Kansas City is still a positive 7-3 against the spread their last 10 when laying the points, while Denver is on a 2-6 spread run their last 8 away games. That includes last week's shutout loss at Los Angeles against the Chargers. Denver's offense has not been able to top 16 points in any of their last 4 games, and with their offense proving a little too unreliable right now, I think it is best to play against the Broncs, and play on the well-rested home favorite tonight.

Nice spot for the Nuggets to do well as they get up to face the Knicks on the road in Madison Square Garden. Remember, just like on our today's daily video where we talk about how it's important when middle of the road eastern conference teams face western conference teams, such as when the Pistons went into Golden State and LA Clippers and won both games - similar to that, the same is true for middle of the road Western Conference teams as they roll into the East. We were on the Nuggets in their last game against the Nets and we think they likely win here as well as they will be thrilled to play in Madison Square Garden as it is one of the Meccas of Basketball. We like the Knicks coming off a big win against the Cleveland Cavaliers and it is hard to get up for the Nuggets after such a big win. Remember, the Nuggets have a decent defense ranked 14th in the league, but take a closer look, they are ranked 6th in opposing field goal percentage. The Knicks scored a season high 114 in their last game against the Cavs and shot lights out incuding 47% from the field and 46% from 3 point land. Prior to that, they scored 107 against the Nets but that is not too much of a surprise given that the Nets don't play fantastic defense (though their offense is top 10 in the league). But, the is is a Nuggets team that does play defense, the Knicks are in for a tough defense today and the Nuggets have to win these games against weaker Eastern Conference Teams to have a shot in the playoffs in the highly competitive west. Hence, their wins over Atlanta, Brooklyn and New York in this road trip will go a long way. The Nuggets are 11-5 ATS in their last 16 road games and the Knicks are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games after a straight up win of more than 10 points.
