8-Unit Play. #199. Take Central Florida -40 over Connecticut (Saturday @ 12pm est)
So you're telling me there is a chance! Central Florida all of a sudden finds itself 12th in the nation and this team is looking to be in the New Year's Bowl Game and what better way than to destroy a team that has given up 89 points over its last 2 games at home. Look, Coach Frost knows he might be on his way out and so do his players as he might be headed for greener pastures to Florida, Nebraska or wherever else he wants frankly as to how quickly he has turned this program around. This is a UCF team that has yet to lose, who won 31-24 at SMU and did not play well frankly at all as they did not cover the -14 number. Sure, they did face the 43.5 number against Peay and won 73-33 but this Connecticut team did pretty well against South Florida losing 20-37 and that is key. Without a doubt UCF knows if they can blow them out as they have limited chances to prove themselves and other teams continuing to knock themselves out, look for UCF to truly put on a dominating performance here. Remember, Memphis beat this team 70-31 and we think UCF can put up just as many points but play much better defense as UCF frankly is an elite defense that is top 30 in points allowed and Memphis is a team outside the top 100 in defense. Hence, look for a 64-14 type of final in this game.
