Indian Cowboy 7-Unit Play. #719. Take Orlando Magic +5 over Portland Trailblazers (Wednesday @ 10:05pm est)
When you ask Evan Fournier and others about their game at Golden State they talk about disappointment and how their offense staggered. This is a team that was not happy with their effort against Golden State as they look to avoid their first 3 game losing streak of the year. Their road trip started off well with a win at Phoenix scoring 128 points as they got Payton back on the trip as he played a bit against the Knicks at home and that was part of the reason they won both games. Then, this team struggled against Denver as Payton could not play as he was resting and given that the point guard has the full confidence of his team that makes a difference as Mack and Augustin are simply not Payton. Then Payton comes back but goes 2/8 against the Warriors and was hard on himself after the loss. The Magic are likely to bust out offensively in this game as they are the 7th best offense in the league and 2nd best in 3 point shooting percentage. Sure, the Blazers bounced back against the Nuggets but the Magic have revenge from a 103-112 loss to them the last time they played and Portland is 17th in the league in offense and 23rd in field goal percentage. Portland has been shaky on offense in general scoring 97, 97 and 99 their last 3 games and Orlando will likely be too much for them offensively today.
